    NEW MEMBERS TRAIN TECH Registry

Hello there to all lego trains fans around. I'm writing from italy and I was born in 1975 and after a long dark age started in the 1986, I came back to my old passion since the year 2008 with a huge hunger of missed sets. Since my first train 182, that I know I had just because I found the motor box and the window bricks and connected to that set thanks to peeron (after a better digging I luckily found all the pieces) I got many 4.5v and 12v trains since the beginning of my dark ages. After seeing the light again, I started to collect Star Wars, Indy and other special sets and looking for some past sets I could not get those days. When I saw the Emerald Night, I tried to avoid to buy that because I was afraid I could start to collect trains again, but at last I could not resist and now I got sucked in again. In hope to find good friends and time to rebuild my collection again I say hello to everyone! my sets: 134 146 162 182 7722 7727 7730 7740 7760 7814 7815 7816 7817 7819 7820 7821 7822 7824 7834 7838 7866 10194 (sorry. could not find how to add pics of my sets)

    How to store LEGO boxes

During these days I'm fixing my lego room, and I am facing the problem of the lego boxes. Except the fact that lego boxes have different sizes, there are also different styles, like the bigger star wars sets where you have to cut the seals in the front and then lift the cover breaking the precut back part of the sides. I tried using the matrioska way, but some small boxes are the same height of bigger ones, so I'm still looking for a solution. How do you store your boxes? DO you store them anyway or simply throw them? thank you for all your ideas. (wouldn't be easier if lego makes all boxes in 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 sizes??? it would solve me many troubles!)

    Petition for Western returning

I've been in my dark ages during the western and pirates period, and as soon as I've been able to get back to the lego world I started to look for those sets. When the new pirates came back to life, I bought all sets at once and if lego will make a new western collection, I'll do the same! No chance for me to get the old pirates at a reasonable price though, but hopefully I had a wonderful chance with most of the western sets! sign me in (twice)!!!

    Captain's Cabin Contest Voting!

NeoKross 2 points - 1st place I Scream Clone 2 points - 2nd place 74 louloute 1 point oo7 1 point Toutouille 1 point really hard choice. some are beautiful mocs even if they are no proper "captain's cabin" or actually "no-more cabin" NeoKross - I really like the way the cabin's walls are made, they follow the shape of a real ship. good idea for the bed! I Scream Clone - pictures speaks by themselves nothing to complain. didn't gave the first place because I'm sure he's going to get tons of points from everyone. 74 loulotte - love the minifig hiding in the barrel oo7 - a bit crowded, but lots of interesting spots. like the candles, the chair, the glass of the cupboard and the big map on the wall. Toutouille - a really nice one in the "no-more cabin" group. I relly like the scene... the captain, even if he has no more ship left, still use his crew to bring the remains of the cabin around the sea looking for more adventures!

    Hello from Italy

benvenuto in eurobricks e bentornato nel mondo dei lego. stai attento, sono come una droga
  7. hello to everyone out there ! i was born in the 1975, now i'm married and i live with three dogs. got lots of lego when i was a kid, but after the year 1986, i suddenly stopped to buy lego sets and i fell into a "black hole"! in the beginning of the year 2008, while at work and by mistake, i opened the web page of eric brok www.ericbrok.com/legomind/ , and i saw one of his wonderful castle creation. i don't know what happened, but suddenly i felt the need to have my lego back! after few weeks, i have been able to found back and divide in boxes, almost all the lego parts i have (still have to finish though) thanks to internet, i found brickset and peeron and they helped me to reorganize everything. i have been very happy to realize i have all the bricks, and even some more i could not even remember. i started then to buy the new indiana jones and the new star wars sets from stores and the older ones through bricklink and ebay and i have been able to collect most of those sets. now i'm after the orient expedition everest and desert theme and the new pirates. sadly, the old ones are now far too expensive to get now, thanks to eurobricks, i'm hoping that my lego passion will not fell again in the "black hole"! stefano from italy
