Review: 7947 Prison Tower Rescue
Talon Karrde replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Fright Knights with new pieces, poorly played on this TLG, compared to the bigger castle. -
Because I know you eurobrickers love your lotr... Who doesn't really? flickr Movie accurate-ish interpretation, I suppose

I just wanted the hands to grip stuff, and basically just copied what miniland builders use on their figs - as it's basically the same scale so maybe I copped out on that a little... The most annoying thing to attach was the head (believe it or not) and I made it so small because cave trolls have *no* brains Anyway, thanks y'all!

Go for it

Here is something I created, probably not what you're looking for, very parts intensive too - but still perhaps something to think upon.

Brickforge Arabian Helmet

Tiled water here is fine. SNOT water is overrated. Hell; tiled water here gives him more opportunity to put in a couple of white cheese slopes in, for waves breaking against the dock.

Pillage the Village II: The Calm After the Storm

Oooh fantastic, this will be interesting! -
O'er the dales, the great Hawk sails Down to the dell, like a bolt he fell In furious pursuit of his prey. Brickshelf Some Deeplinks: Courtyard shot Modularity! Who goes there? I was going for a sort of realistic, Norman style castle, with defensibility and playability; so I wanted realistically thick walls which made fitting everything into the courtyard a real challenge. But really; such a fun build, I can only urge anyone who hasn't tried working within these space confines already to have a go, it really is interesting. Enjoy, Eurobrickers

Thanks for all the kind comments guys

... He may be a maverick, but he gets the job done. Just a little sci-fi western something. Enjoy, eurobrickers

Drunkenness had increasingly become a problem in the Bluecoat ranks. Who can blame them with all the victories the Glorious Redcoats have been winning of late? So, the fiendishly clever undercover redcoats division have decided to take advantage of this situation... Hahahahaha, imbeciles! (Went for a minimalist build)

"Travelling through the mountains had become more dangerous of late, but none of us realised the danger we were in until it was too late..." I started this build with the bridge, then built up (or down really) each side of the canyon until they each was finished, then joined them together which was a total female canine and the most annoying part of the build but I guess that's the way you pay really for starting from the top ;-P Then I tiled the water out and constructed the waterfall. Finally I added vegetation and the actual battle scene, putting the flames and the final touches on the bridge. This build took almost all of my light bley. Brickshelf Folder (When modded.) Enjoy, Eurobrickers :)

Yeah, for sure, but complications which threatened the integral structure of the model ensued - if you know what I mean Thanks, and yeah, see above about the waterfal l How so? I got exactly what I was going for on those cliffs, vertical but textured well at the same time. Um idk just Daemons I guess Nope, fraid not hehe - I don't read fantasy trash but thanks anyway. Thanks everyone!

Gentlemen, this is a day you will always remember...
Talon Karrde replied to Talon Karrde's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks guys! You can't see them, but there is one guy with blue epaulettes, one with yellow; the others are missing them because I didn't want them to all be officers The sword that the pirate is holding is from the order. -
What figure represents the castle line?
Talon Karrde replied to Tom Bricks's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would say a King. That fits with the Pirate one. -
Has anyone accidentally dropped your completed Lego creation before?
Talon Karrde replied to kinjai's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I haven't dropped any MOC's that I remember, but while I was building this starfighter, I applied too much pressure and it literally imploded I wept.
