How well does this process work on transparent pieces?

Review: 44016 Jaw Beast vs Stormer

I'm not entirely fond of the result either. But fortunately, that's what we have this piece for. And am I the only person who thinks that they mixed up the two halves of Jaw Beast's head? I'd like to think that the bigger part would have been placed at the bottom like on Splitter Beast because, seeing as the creature is named "Jaw Beast", it would need to live up to its namesake with a larger mandible.

    REVIEW: 40084 Exclusive Accessory Pack

Even if you set aside the recolored brain, this was still a neat little idea for a promotion, even more popular in the fact that people in the US can actually receive this for a change. The sword is a simple design that manages to look pretty cool in the process, and I've become quite a sucker for those BRAINS! Can't wait to snag one of these with Evo and Aquagon in the coming weeks, and I hope this becomes popular enough for promotions to continue in places besides Europe. BTW, what color is the sword piece itself? Is it the translucent red that's also found in Worriz and Cragger, or is it a completely opaque red one?

Hero Factory Moc- Merrick Fortis Breakout

All I can say is that this guy could give Hydraxon a run for his money But in all seriousness, I do believe that the amount of weapons is a bit excessive. Still, it's clear that this was your intention, and the execution isn't bad by any means. The colors work well, with the grey skeleton going with the white and silver, and the lime green manages to be less glaring than on Breakout Surge. The color that seems out of place though would have to be the Pearl Dark Gray, probably because it doesn't flow as well as it would if replaced with parts in other colors (i.e. white feet and silver claws). Other than that, it's nice to see that the leader of Hero Recon Team is ready for anything that comes at him!

    Hero Factory 2013

There's always what type of pieces the Winter line will have. I don't necessarily care what they look like, but I'm holding hope for two things: Hero Cores that have colors again, and that we actually receive the remolded Glatorian head. We're not kidding, LEGO, please look into it like you did with the Shadow Matoran feet.

I had the same idea about taking the wires on Voltix and attaching them onto his lower arms. However, I thought about using a pair of black 3M armor bits in place of the red hand pieces, as it would pop out less and fit in with the rest of the arm. Plus, I thought about using silver hands (like in the TV show), and just leaving the spin feature on the whip at the hand. And I never thought about extending his legs with that upper bone piece, though it certainly looks better on him than on Breez.

    Hero Factory 2012

From what I recall, the reason that Speeda Demon went to Kollix IV was to tamper with the planet's navigation beacon so that he could rob any spacecrafts that passed by. And who knows? Maybe Speeda was allowed to keep the bike in his cell; since it couldn't help him escape his containment in any way, the Heroes felt no reason to place the vehicle in a separate area. Thank you! I completely agree with you about LEGO going back to the original "dumb brute" Bulk. They didn't need him to be an all-knowing intellect, but they didn't have to pretend that "Savage Planet" never happened either. Bulk was probably my favorite Hero character, and I thought it would be very interesting to see him move away from a common stereotype. Matter of fact, I always imagined to myself that the reason Bulk kept his Hero Cuffs attached to his underarms and near his chest was because he thought ahead. He was told who he would capture, got upgraded, and then thought real hard about how to make himself less vulnerable to this "Core Hunter". (sigh) I guess it just happened to be a coincidence after all.
