    Solarum

In this official beginning to Project U and entry to BRAWL 2014, an ad agency is pitching an ad to the renewable energy company Solarum, but it seems that both sides have a certain agenda that one is not telling the other. What is going on? The mysteries of Project U are about to be established! Link to film:

Legoland Miniland Billund car Moc competiton - rules!

Sounds like a great contest! If I can find the time in my busy schedule to make something for this contest, then I will try to enter!
  4. I've run contests before, but since I want to spread my outreach for this contest, I have decided to post this one here. So, without further ado, let me introduce the... This new contest is being run in conjunction with a current animation project, titled Project U! So, what is this contest, you may ask? Well, read on to find out! Official Rules 1. You will create a new and original character and cast them into one of the four Nexus Force factions: Sentinels, Assembly, Venture League, or Paradox. 2. While the character is restricted to one of the four factions, they are not restricted to the classes of each faction (ex. A Sentinel character doesn’t have to be a knight, samurai, or space marine). 3. You will submit a five-point turnaround of one and only one character (unless it is important for the character to have a maximum of one companion). In addition to this, you will also submit details that tell the character’s name, age, personality traits, and any other important information. 4. When submitting a character design, there is no restriction on the medium used. You may use actual LEGO pieces, LDraw, LEGO Digital Designer, pencil and paper, pen and ink, paint, digital paint, vector drawing, 3D Max, Autodesk Maya, etc. 5. You will not be restricted to actual LEGO pieces (as the characters in LEGO Universe were not). However, if you want to be more inventive, it is recommended that these pieces are modeled after pieces that can be bought from third-party vendors (Brickarms, BrickForge, etc.). 6. Mustache Maniacs Film Co. staff members cannot participate in this contest. 7. All entries MUST be accepted by December 31, 2014. 8. To submit your entry for this contest, make a reply in this thread that contains character description and all of the required images. All live posts will be considered submitted. Prizes 20 finalists selected from the different branches of this contest will be featured in the final Project U film, Legends of the Universe (scheduled release: 2020)! 1 grand prize winner selected from the 20 finalists will play the part of the character they created! With that said, be sure to have fun and good luck! P.S.: I haven't entirely dabbled in minifigure customization, but have created several animated brickfilms (this contest relates to one of my in-development films). 2014 City Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Looks like we're not getting any LEGO City Undercover characters in this wave. Oh well. There may be some in the summer sets. At any rate, the new police station actually looks good, as do the new police officer uniforms. I do agree that the new helicopter looks unappealing, though, especially when compared to other recent police helicopters. As for the great vehicles, I really like the car transporter and logging truck, along with the airport fire truck. The camper looks great as well, even though it looks exactly like the one from 2009. I'll certainly be buying more of these sets than I was originally anticipating. Now if I only had the room to display them...

    Very Surreal Alpha Team Prototype

Hard to say. Yes, they are mixing themes for The LEGO Movie, but they also mixed themes for LEGO Universe, and I'm sure we all remember how much of a financial failure that game was for TLG, though I don't think the mixing of themes is what caused the failure of that game.

2014 City Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Just out of curiosity, do the new police sets come with characters from LEGO City Undercover, or are the policemen and robbers generic?

    Very Surreal Alpha Team Prototype

Wow! I never could have believed that one of the video games I played when I was young had such an interesting history! Personally, I prefer the final game, though that may be because Alpha Team was a big part of my childhood. It was also a more focused idea than Lego Logic, anyway. I would have still loved to have seen Ogel's mountain and moon bases, but I guess we can't have everything. Oh, well. Then again, Forrest Blackwell had his own moon base in Lego City Undercover, so I guess that makes up for it (fingers crossed for a Lego set of that!).

    Sci-Fi your Avatar Contest!

Here's my entry. It's just a quick thing I did while working on other projects, especially since I've been needing an avatar anyway. I hope you like it!

[WIP LDD] Comics Corner MOD MOC

Very nice! I like how you were able to distinguish all three of the businesses inside with apporpriate signage on the front, yet keep the whole building unified at the same time. Good job!

    Norwegian winter mountain village

Absolutely stunning! It really captures the feel of a mountain village. All of the little details really add to it as well. Well done! Now I really can't wait for the holidays!

    US 50's Soda Shop

Great MOC! I especially love the jukebox. It really is a nice touch that no 50's diner would be complete without!

    Seth Masterson vs. Shark Hoops

It's a lovely day on the set for Late for the Soccer Match, but something has gone wrong! The evil bank robber has come to destroy the movie with his own sport: Shark Hoops! What will happen to Seth Masterson and his movie? Who will get a real bite out of this original sport? Watch this manic entry to the Nightly News at Nine's "Olympics Schmolympics" contest to find out! Watch it in 3-D! Note: If you're a LEGO Island fan, be sure to watch out for a special cameo made by a special character, who has an important message.

    Speedorz 2013?

Legends of Chima sounds like it could be an interesting theme, but we'll have to wait until further notice before making a final verdict. Speedorz, on the other hand, sounds pretty lame, though it may finally put the tired Racers theme out of its misery. As a side note, I've heard that themes that may bear these names may come out in 2014, not in 2013.
