    Kilchurn Castle

This is such an incredible build! The level of detail you included is truly astonishing. It must have taken countless hours to plan and create all the unique structures that really bring the castle grounds to life.

    Most physically-painful building moments?

Those cracked bricks would frustrate me too! I've had my share of unpleasant surprises when placing dark red or brown pieces. One that got me good was when a 1x2 brick snapped in half as I pushed it into place on my UCS Falcon—got a nice Lego-inflicted cut on my finger from that one.

How to sell a large collection?

I agree rebuilding the sets is a good idea too. @Lego Mike you could also try selling them on the Bricklink Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2318028917/. Groups like that can reach a huge, targeted audience of Lego fans and resellers from all over the world. Once you're logged into Facebook, you should be able to request to join the group. Then you can make a post with photos and details of everything you have available. With nearly 25,000 members, I'm sure there will be plenty of interested buyers. When I was in Seoul last year, my guide, Lee from GoWithGuide (https://gowithguide.com/korea/seoul/guides) also brought me to the huge Dongdaemun market. There were so many toy stores there selling Lego among other things. It might be worth Mike asking some of the owners if they'd be interested in buying the whole collection. They could probably sell it on easily.

    This beauty...

Yeah, Bricklink has definitely gotten more strict with their seller requirements these days. The collection verification does seem a bit much! Maybe you could sell that in Brickpicker.com, your local Facebook buy/sell groups, or eBay - probably get the biggest audience but they take bigger fees.

    Suggestions :)

Don't worry if you're feeling uninspired - it happens to all of us builders! You might find it fun to try a Lamborghini Huracan, which always pleases the crowd and translates well into Lego with its lots of angles and sharp lines. Alternatively, you can go classic by building a '60s muscle car like a Mustang or Camaro - they are great for showing off big engines.

    [MOC] Bakery Modular Building

That bakery modular looks great! I love the detail you included both inside and out. The apartment upstairs is a nice touch too.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

You're probably right about the shiny clones' faces just being the angle in photos. I hope we get more than one diorama too. A Duel of the Fates one would be amazing. I don't know why Lego didn't include accessory packs for the clone helmet holes either - seems like an odd oversight. Thanks for the heads up on those YouTube reviews already being up, I'll have to check them out. Always fun to see sets early.

Top 10 unlicensed Lego sets you want to be re-designed

Some great list suggestions here! @Brick Boss, wouldn't a rescue helicopter be cool to see in the emergency theme too? @Klaus-Dieter, do you have a preference for time periods if they remade some of these? I'm always torn between original designs or modernized updates. Also wondering, for the train sets, would you want working track functions or more focus on buildings/details? Tough choices for sure when there are so many cool older sets to consider.

    Everybody could be Santa

I saw your posts about all the minifigs sharing Santa's face print. That's a funny trend! Makes me see those characters in a new light now. Wonder if any others will get the Santa treatment down the road? What other jobs do you think old Saint Nick could moonlight as to make ends meet?

(MOC) Seoul Korea, South Gate (Sungnyemun)

Hey thanks for the tip about the Korea AFOL exhibition - that sounds really cool! I'll have to check dates when they're announced and see if our trip lines up. As for recommendations on lesser known areas, I actually just booked a local guide named Lee from https://gowithguide.com/korea/seoul/guides for our Seoul trip. She seemed really knowledgeable about both the major sights but also gave some great suggestions for neighborhoods to explore beyond the usual tourist spots. She recommended checking out the Bukchon Hanok village just north of Gyeongbokgung Palace - said it's like stepping back in time wandering the alleys there. Also mentioned Dongdaemun Design Plaza might be worth a visit for its exhibitions beyond just the architecture. I'm definitely going to ask her for some cafes or parks off the beaten path too.

(MOC) Seoul Korea, South Gate (Sungnyemun)

Since you're local to South Korea, I was wondering if you could recommend some lesser-known places visitors shouldn't miss? The big tourist areas are great, but I'd love to get off the beaten path a bit too. What neighborhood or part of the city really embodies the local culture and vibe? Any small cafes, parks, or nightlife spots you'd recommend checking out? Trying to plan an authentic experience beyond just the major sights.

(MOC) Seoul Korea, South Gate (Sungnyemun)

That's a really cool MOC you built of the South Gate in Seoul! I'm actually hoping to travel to Seoul later this year. Would you mind sharing any of your experiences visiting the real gate? Was your model pretty accurate in capturing details? Also, as someone who's been there, any other spots you'd recommend checking out in Seoul? I'd love any local insights as I start planning my trip. Thanks for sharing your awesome build too - always love seeing representations of places I want to visit one day!

    Do you only buy lego?

Thanks for the conversation. To me, the most important thing is that we all encourage creativity and bring more joy to the world however we can. There seem to be good arguments on both sides of this issue.
