  2. Thanks for adding this to the entris index my good sir, and thanks for all your constructive comments! I see I'll have to work a bit on my landscaping skills and I agree that a real sail would have worked better, but I didn't find it on Studio...

    [ENTRY] Governor Broadside's Garrison

That's one impressive fort true to the 90s. You and your son did a great job! I just have a couple of notes: - Some extra cannons could be used, it seems like only one side is defended. - There's the governor's hidden boat, nice, but you could add another boat by the dock for the other soldiers.

    [ENTRY] 6269 Islander Palace

Just wow, looking at this model makes me so happy... nothing beats the classic style, well done! It kinda feels like an Islander version of 6071: Forestmen's Crossing. One thing I'd add: an extra islander as there's plenty of space there and the king needs to show more force.
  5. Iragm: Thank you! Good idea, that would make it more stable for sure! Rogue Redcoat: First post updated, thanks for the heads up!
  6. Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions! There is indeed some playability: the rock and the sandy platform at the top slides together to the right revealing the skeleton, just as the original set did. In my eyes the 3 minifigures are not necessarly pirates, but more like seafearing adventurers, treasure hunters (one of them is a lady actually). This is why I omitted pirate flags or a skull pattern on the raft's sail. Also, I didn't feel the need of another faction or enemies as the skeleton/undead guy is a good enough adversary to our heroes. There's also a shark now to fight. :) Anyways, I've followed many of your advice and done some updates: - I've changed the gray tiles to tan and dark tan - The island is now centered on the water plates - The raft was a bit incomplete indeed, so I've placed a lantern in the front to light the way and added a small weapons/tool rack. When the 3 figures are on board with their equipment and treasure chest, the raft is pretty well-packed. Here are the images that tell the Raft Raiders' adventure at the Rocky Reef in this order: Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 Image 5 Image 6
  7. Thanks a lot for your comments! I've made some updates: Image 1 Image 2 I totally agree with you about adding an animal, so now there is a big nasty spider that the pirate can fend off to access the treasure cache. (Originally I wanted to include the small chamelon, but sadly it was not available on Studio...) I also made the pirate a bit more scruffy looking with a bushy beard and I added a gemstone to his collection. I opted not to include coins as they are better to be stored in a treasure chest or barrel in my opinion.
  8. Hi all, After my mini model of Tidy Treasure Remake I'd like to submit a sligthly bigger one which is a remake of 2 medium size sets: Rocky Reef and Raft Raiders. Image 1 Image 2 I had to learn using Studio on the go so it's not perfect, but I had good fun building it, thank you for organizing this contest. :) Updated version of the model on the links below. It can be put to the Entries Index, please @Mister Phes. Image 1Image 2Image 3Image 4Image 5Image 6
  9. Thank you for letting me know, I've modified my link.
  10. Hello fellow Lego Pirate fans! I've been a long time visitor of Eurobricks, but this contest and your beautiful creations inspired me to design something on Studio and join the forum and contest. Please find on the link below my remake of 1802: Tidy Treasure / 1747: Treasure Surprise : Image 1 Image 2 It's nothing crazy but I'm quite happy with it: It's quite true to the original set, I've only changed the coin pieces to a small compass, I can easily imagine this released by Lego. Looking forward to receiving your comments. Updated Version: It can be put to the Entries Index, please @Mister Phes. Old Version:
