You know Genie Jafar and Gaston make even less sense when you consider we ended up getting no other Aladdin minifigures this year for his to pair with or a Belle or Beast for Gaston. Why not put Mother Gothel and Lady Tremaine in the set to make it iconic Disney Villainesses and go with the 3 Pricness in the castle and Aurora from the CMF?

Welp, looks like my wallet can recover next year. Do we think this is more Lego or Disney's decision? The Microsets made a lot of sense when they were targeting older kids/adults with the minifigures, then dropped it for Agrabah and are now aiming at younger with the minidolls. Why the pivot in the microbuilds? Also, why such hesitancy to make more minifigure sets? The Disney Idea sets seem to always be best sellers and I would think the sales from last year would show there is a want/demand for them.

I'm just trying to stay optimistic we get any Animated Little Mermaid figures at some point when we've still got Eric, Human Ariel, and King Triton missing. As for B&B, I feel like a tasteful diorama would be enough. Belle Beast with Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, Chip and Cogsworth with a well built half a ballroom would be enough for me. Heck, they could do dioramas of sooooo many movies and knock out a bunch of minifigs if they wanted. Part of the Ashnflash diorama set not getting picked for the Ideas competition is that a similar set is being worked on, somewhat helped by the same leak that we would get a Gaston and Belle minifigure that has only half come true so far. Belle could have been scrapped or the conspiracy minded might think they knew which set would win the Ideas competition as Belle is the only new figure in the winning entry.

add the rumored Beauty and the Beast ballroom but I can't think of any others unless they decide to throw a minifig in the Micro Atlantica. Edit: Also forgot we have the Lego Ideas Nightmare Before Christmas coming up hopefully in 2024.

Bruni looks to be the same mold but I would need a better angle to confirm. Also love the concept of the princesses owning and running businesses in a sort of fairytale village. A fresh departure from more castle oriented sets for them, but I do find it funny while Tiana is running a restaurant, Ariel owning a trinket shop, Aurora an inn, Cinderella a dress shop, and Elsa selling frozen treats, Belle apparently decided her best enterprise was rolling around town telling people stories. (unless there is a book cart int he back I just can't see)

You raise a good point. Looking at past products, 41964 is a Dots style back to school set that is retiring at $44.99, 669pcs which is the same range. Could be a replacement for that set. Conversely, it also fits with the Micro Agrabah 40613 ($39.99, 506 pcs) Micro Cinderella Castle 40478 ($39.99, 567 pcs) and Micro Haunted Mansion 40521($39.99, 680 pcs). Could be the Micro Atlantica with a minifigure thrown in to bump it to the $45 given Agrabah costing the same without minifigure.

I don't know. Rapunzel's Tower 43187 was essentially just that, the tower and a small side build meant to imply the Snuggly Duckling that sold for $64.99. A revised set (looks like 43187 isn't sold anymore) with a $15 price hike could mean an as detailed tower or a more built out Snuggly Duckling Side Build or the same build but new minifigures/minidolls. If it is minidolls, a shame. If minigifures, hope we get longer hair for Rapunzel and a Mother Gothel.

How easy do you think it would be to remove the print from the mermaid tail piece? I've been eyeing the denim mermaid tail from Build a Minifigure and if I could get the print off easy, I think it would be a good substitute for an animated movie King Triton but don't want to jump unless its easy to get the print off without damaging the piece.

Anyway, with the news of the Snow White remake being delayed to 2025, I guess we'll find out if the rumored Snow White cottage is animated or live action based. If it gets delayed, I think that puts the nail in teh debate. Disney wouldn't want a promotional set sitting on shelves a whole year before its movie comes out.

I think this means the last of the minifigure Disney 100 sets for the year are the Peter Pan set and Camera set for September1 and then the Micro Agrabah for October 1. At least it will give my wallet time to recover for next year.

I know another CMF is at least 3 years off but they could honestly put them out annually and I'd eat them up.

I'm gonna throw my two cents towards a Monsters Inc. or Brave set. Would love to see Mike, Sully and Boo with a small door diorama or a vignette for Merida

Looks like the new info is that 40708 will be a micro Atlantica instead. Pumped if true because it would be nice to see some animated Little Mermaid representation in set form. Debatable if it would come with a King Triton minifigure or a Mer-Sister minifigure.
