  1. So this thing really does lift without any help? If it does, it is truly amazing because it must be quite heavy with all the motors and parts. Regarding previous posts, I understood that this is probably not even possible. But here it is, right?
  2. Thank you DLuders, that answered to my question. :)
  3. That B-model is very good looking, I build it couple days ago. Maybe even better than supercar though not that advanced technically. Considering its age it is great display model! What comes to the extra parts, there should not be any extra needed for the B-model? Actually I have lost couple of parts from the supercar, but still was able to build B-model perfectly. So my guess is; you don't need any extra's.
  4. This car looks great, I may buy the instructions. How many parts btw? ~1500...?
  5. I'm newbie in this forum, so hello to all! I decided to share this MOC with you, since it's my first one. It is just a simple RC vehicle that I build around 4 PF m-motors. My target was to create something fun to play (with my very limited skills) and this one perfoms surprisingly well! It has no gears at all so theres no friction at all. Driving is fun cause it feels very sensitive and immediate (if this is the right word). I used parts from 8043, 8297 and 8066. Wheels are the same as in 8868. Here is pictures: And here is a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CvAuleeHXc Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the result. It is easy one but it's mine. That been said, I have seen lots of amazing MOC's that some of you in this forum and others have create, and those are something I could never be able to do. Lots of respect to all who have skills and passion! Thanks for reading.
  6. I must admit, that your vehicle looks much cooler than mine! Nice work. It is fun to play isn't it? :) i find the steering to be surpisenly easy but it was matter of some practise of course. Those wheels are perfect for this kind of vehicle since they are lightweight. Mine is already in parts, but now i liked to rebuild it with new design.:)
  7. Hi, I got inspiration to build and motorize this model, it is "Rally Support Truck" (8850) and it was released in 1990. I believe it was the first model with new type of engine blocks and pistons? Anyway it is old school model with completely studded design. I like it a lot. There is not many functions in the original model, working V6 engine and HOG steering. I motorized it with 3 M-motors, one for steering and two for driving. Steering is "return to centre"-type with rubber band (Sheepo's design). It is working quite well. The model is fully RC now. Battery box is removable via two pins. Saddly I was not able to fit the V6 engine due the room for steering motor, but I manage to fit it as V4. It is working flawless. I also did some minor changes to the chassis and body, but I did in respect of the original design. And of course this one is black! It is probably a matter of taste, but I think it looks even better in black than in yellow. What do you think? Pictures: Video (sorry about the poor quality). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UeeDicodPk Thanks for reading. :)
  8. @ Alasdair: the winch is a good idea, I'm actually having one from 8297. Maybe I give it a try! @ T_Tank and Burf2000: Thanks for the kind words! Yes V6 should be doable even with larger battery back, maybe for someone more experienced builder than me... This is kind of new hobby to me. :) And yes studded parts are nice, you know I actually build the body of this car at first from studdles parts because I thought it would look better... But it didn't! Studded = looks more technic to me. :)
  9. This might be a very stupid question, but what are the 1H and 2H?
  10. It is typical sound for V4 motor. Actually that sound is coming from the fake engine, but I could not find the source. I guess the crankshaft is touching to something when it's spinning. Other than that it is working fine.

You only need to download a player with avi support. This is good and free of course: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ It's simple and works great!
  13. Haha... that's cool! I bet they were really excited when planning and building this. In the end of video: "Vill du också bli diplomingenjör?" = do you want to be M.Sc. too? (free translation)
  14. I'd like to see a big tractor with double tyres as in this picture And of course some nice large attachment on it (i.e trailer or ploughs etc.) Or maybe tractor with tracks! Hmm...
  15. Wow... Now that is big! Have you count the parts? Good luck and it would be exciting to see it on action!
  16. That's true! At first I was planning to just watch few minutes but then actually watched the whole ~40 minutes! Very cool trucks and looks like they really are able to survive in that terrain. By the way is there some kind of rule for tyres, I guess only Lego stock tyres are allowed?
  17. Haha, that's a cool vide above! Yes these wheels are good for skid steer, but actually grip is quite good when driving straight. Maybe because it is "4 wheel drive". Bobcat would be great, maybe I will try it! @ IIIuwatar: the motors are running in pairs, left and right sides separately. So I drive them with one receiver and one controller. @ DLuders: haven't think battlebot competitions, but it really looks little bit like a robot. I haven't try it outdoors but it goes very easily over obstacles thanks to its good torque. I can also drive it against a wall without any problems, so it can take some impacts too. Thanks for the compliments to all, that's kind!
