Not counting the store-specific rules, that's often the most annoying part. You generally find 95% of your parts in 2 or 3 stores where they're cheap, and for the last 5% you have to deal with those "min order 20eur, 2eur/lot, only shipping insured, 2eur handling fee, +5% paypal" sellers, who happen to be the only ones to have one of the rare parts in your list.which is happening most of the time, you need a little quantity of parts and you pay more in shipping, handling and paypal than the value of the parts themselves
most recently, I needed a minifig that only a few French stores had, the minifig is sold between 3 and 5 euros, i ended up paying almost 10 euros for it in total

finding bricks on BL at a good price is a sport itself or a part time job
and ordering hundreds of references on lego.com by typing the part number and find the right color and discovering that most popular parts or colors are out of stock is really giving headaches not to say that most of the time when i push the auto select button on BL I end up with buying from XX stores which means as many shipping costs times the number of orders and a very expensive total
i'd rather pay a small premium on a single website and get a ready to build kit
I hope to see those websites grow with more MOCs.

In all seriousness it's a great site and they have a massive range of models: BuildaMOC - Custom LEGO models
Wow, good website
So it's selling instructions AND bricks to build the MOC like brickmoon ?
if so, it is so much convenient compared to buying the instructions and the hassle to find parts on BL :)

I agree with you but it's difficult for lots of people to spend $50-70 in a ship for a kid. Prices are always going up especially with SW sets. At some point, they have to release more affordable sets, that's what they are doing in 2021.
That's why I bought the 2018 x-wing. And I chose not to own every single x-wing they sell.
You might be disappointed if you collect them all

I did watch the whole season but honestly didn't pay attention to this, it's not such a big deal
it's not like the most important detail of the season and judging the set, I would definitely not build or keep the hut and the weapon. Instead I would add up Cobb Vanth to go along with mando's bike
-
honestly I never paid attention and never saw an tusken hut or this weapon before
-
do you think I should get the upcoming 75299 set just to get Mando in this beskar armor and the child (or wait to see arrive on bricklink with the risk of indecent prices) and build his speeder from B&P or from a MOC ?
because, I will have no use for the ridiculous tusken hut and weapon that Lego decided to stage out of the blue
so this means 30 euros for Mando, the child, the bike and extra tan parts

It's a lovely build, especially after having not built anything significant for a couple of months.
Out of curiosity could you please let us know if the legs are sliding down once you’ve completed it

The best playable x-wing for kids probably
but as a collectible x-wing, the 2018 one was better for adults imho

wow just received my red-arm C-3PO, such a good surprise to see that not only the arms but also the sides of the legs are printed with great details
-
I have never seen those packagings before
where are they sold ?
-
you're right, I am just buying these small sets to get the minifigs and then keeping the rest as extra parts to be re-used for MOCs
-
Nice
so it's not just about replacing the arm, I have to find this version then
i was thinking also about putting Blue Milk Luke just for fun instead of a regular one

I was wondering... do you choose to build thick wings on purpose on all the Ties ?
because of all MOCs, your cockpits are among the best but the wings are also the thickest
and based on the picture you picked as a model for your MOC, the wings are very thin
-
ok thanks for the explanation, that makes sense

speaking of this episode, most ships are flying... any idea why this one has wheels ?
is it too heavy to fly ?
I am simply surprised to see a truck in SW

I'm sure Boba has a house full of ships like some rich guy with plenty of sportscars and will ask his new friend Mando to pick one ;)

oh wow, how did it take to shoot this video ?

(if you can't tell, I'm not a fan of this )
Hi
Thanks for the explanation. Moreover you have tons of sellers in the US so buying pieces in the US is cheaper, that explains how you guys are so many to build large MOCs compared to us in Europe
I recently bought minifigs, shipping was a lot more expensive than minifigs and most of time when i need just a few pieces that Lego.com does not have in stock, I need to buy from BL, these are a few pieces for a total of 2-3-4 euros and I end up paying like 10 euros because of shipping :(
I wish we had more lego stores so that i could go and use pick a brick service instead of spending so much into shipping
-
Just wondering... is shipping at flat rate is in US no matter which state ?
if so this means the post service is way cheaper than in Europe...
ordering from some neighbor countries is sometimes amazingly expensive due to shipping cost while it is litterally next door if we compare the distance between France and Germany for example and a bricklink store based in NY and its customer in LA

Just disassembled the wings this morning and rebuilt them back by replacing the rubber bands, they are no longer falling down, but it means that I will no longer open/close the wings, otherwise it will become loose again
if I want a X-Wing with wings open i will do it on my 75218 because the built is different

well, as the B-project is late, I am really hoping that it will released first and the new project not to be prioritized over the B-project. He started the B-project before the K one but gave the priority to the K one... :(

I am looking forward to having the Luke blue milk minifig but just wondering if it will be totally exclusive for the purchase of the deluxe version of the skywalker saga video game or if the polybag will be available to be purchased separately ?
the game will only be released in May... that's a long time to wait
