just built the 75375 Millenium Falcon, the set is absolutely beautiful and the construction was really fun with nice techniques. So far, probably one of the most beautiful ships of this size, no stickers at all, well done TLG !

just sold my 75257 millenium falcon to buy the new small one 75375 tho i kept the minifigs to display them with the new falcon I have absolutely no regrets, I have never opened the falcon to look inside and the new one seems quite detailed enough not to miss the bigger size and I am very happy to get more space for future sets

Looking for instructions: bubble turrets for the Coruscant Guard Gunship

this gunship being quite bigger than the guard gunship, I think the turrets would be a bit oversized (?) -

i really love some details like the skeletons with their chains, the gold and the armory room, not the most visible spaces but you filled them with items

75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship, awaiting to have its double doors fixed soon

It’s very nice but I wished to be a bit thicker to be more accurate otherwise the size is perfect, the UCS one being too long and too big to be displayed

[MOC] Vigilance - Venator class-star destroyer
macaron35 replied to thire5's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm desperately looking for a decent and detailed Venator being half the size of the UCS model because I don't have much space to display it nor the budget. The only I found so far is probably the small one by BrickVault. Some MOCs are nice on rebrickable, good sizes but too slim so proportions seem incorrect -
Unless your collection is already complete, it's hard to say that the offer is fading moreover, new content is constantling adding up (movies, series, animations), meaning more lego sets to come. Maybe new sets are more kids-oriented but over time, it is quite difficult to keep up unless having a significant budget to buy collectible sets

Hi everyone, following our recent discussion on the general topic, i finally received the pieces to mod my AT-AT 75288. I found out that the rotating parts at the hips and knees (Lego only put 1 set flex joints instead of 2 on the AT-ST and AT-DP), so it was easier for them to turn on this set. As a result, by itself, the AT-AT started sliding down depending on how it put the legs. I was really afraid it would crash down if i didn't put its legs straight and even tho, it didn't feel very stable. Owners of previous sets didn't encounter this issue because Lego change the orientation of the flex joint attached to the body... Someone found out that Lego changed one of the part between older sets and this one There is a theory about the decrease of clutch power with the new part. I can only confirm through my touch and feel that older parts were stronger than the new ones. So I doubled the number of flex joints for each leg and removed some original pieces to insert the modded legs so that the hips do not look larger. I also added bigger inverted radars so that the top of the legs look stronger/bigger than the bottom under the knees (Lego originally put the same size of inverted radars). To be done later... reinforcing the inside of the thighs so that the AT-AT stops having skinny legs ;) thanks again for your responses and advices in the general topics which helped me a lot modding this AT-AT. It is much stronger now original parts removed:

PSA: UCS Millennium Falcon looks to be retiring soon
macaron35 replied to Something_Awesome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have a friend working in the retail, his store is selling toys including Lego, told me that the UCS MF is always in top list of Lego bestselling sets. He recently met with the Lego representative as he receives plenty of sales calls since the end of August to prepare 2021 Xmas catalogs and anticipating 2022 sales too, he has been told that Lego has no plan to retire this set for the next 2-3 years because Disney is preparing plenty of new things and sales are doing too well to consider retiring the UCS MF among expensive sets -
