Yeah it's weird. this was from their official online support chat. multiple sources said it's officially defunded and discontinued back in January 2016 when it was v4.3.8...

I bought some physical bricks and am currently modeling in LDD to export as .ldr to .obj for later use in animation in Maya. There are some parts that came out recently that doesn't exist in LDD (example: 4529239) so I contacted LEGO support and got this response: "I do apologize but out LDD program does not include every part. There are several parts that are not included and because we are no longer updating or supporting this game, we do not anticipate that we will be adding any more. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this causes." Is there any way to import those parts into LDD?
