This compound was made using parts from only the two released compound sets (2019 and 2021). I used the instructions from the 2019 version and eyeballed the 2021 version to try and get as many accurate parts as possible. This may not be 100%, but it is most close to what you can make using the parts from both sets combined. In this next screenshot, I tried to create some basic kind of Timetravel Portal as seen in the film. In the set, the radar dish is in neon orange but I made it trans blue for fun. Here is the interior of the main building, with parts from both sets and some custom builds I added for fun. Here is a link to some instructions I made. It's fairly amateurish and the first instructions I've ever made, but they work fairly well. https://smallpdf.com/shared#st=c0e5800d-cebd-476e-b0cf-15711be574d5&fn=Avengers+Compound+Instructions.pdf&ct=1621362325624&tl=share-document&rf=link

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

I wish that the marvel designers would take some inspiration from the Star Wars team and do some iconic scene sets as dioramas, like the iconic Avengers shot from the first movie. -

If it is a $500 Sanctuary II, it would fit the bill of being non minifigure or nanoscale, plus they could include a slew of highly detailed (or highly desired) figures from Endgame or any of the MCU. Going off of how the Sanctum was centered around Multiverse of Madness and Infinity War, the Sanctuary II could be based around Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame (or the original Avengers if the want to stretch it). -

This is a long shot... but $500 collection of ocean animals and the War Whale from Black Panther 2? Edit: I know some have said it ties into an upcoming movie, but im beginning to think that it might be a comic set. I really can't see a way they release two large d2c's both based on the MCU so closely. Maybe it is another Spiderman-based UCS -

What if there's a Christmas themed Benatar that appears in the Holiday Special that is the $500 set? Or some kind of niche, exclusive large ship we don't know about yet ($500 Santa Sleigh?) Is it a vehicle? Yes Is it expensive enough? Yes Is it surprising? Yes Is it part of a movie that is coming out? Yes Would some people be upset that were getting a niche thing? Yes -

Yeah, I never considered it might not be MCU but I feel like the leakers would have clarified if it was or was not. If it's comic based, I guess it could be literally anything. I'm having a really difficult time even imagining anything that could be a $500 lego Marvel set that is a vehicle. Surely it would have to be more than 1 vehicle, right? Lego has never (rarely) made a single vehicle that expensive besides recent Star Wars UCS. -

The milano or anything guardians makes sense except that supposedly the community is likely to dislike the set, which means it would be something either unwanted or unnecessary for the price point. -

Yes, that's correct. So in total (some taken from BrickBob): The set is neither minifig nor microscaled It’s not an AT, nor a quinjet It isn‘t Icons collection 2.0 it is a vehicle and not a location Most likely options IMO: Something Tony Stark related, like a car of his or something. Maybe something like "Tony's Garage" with a hot rod, some busts, and an arc reactor (but this is kind of icons) The Leviathan, though thats not "vehicle" A huge Sanctuary II. UCS Benatar Statesman from Thor Ragnarok -

jjpsleakssite has now said that it is a vehicle and not a location, thus ruling out the bust or diorama theories. This rules out any location (Avengers Tower, Xmansion, etc) or the prior Iron Man with Infinity Gauntlet theories. This is unusual! -

From all the hints and whatnot, along with following Lego's recent trends of unusual D2C's (the ? block from Mario, buildable figures, the Mosaic's line, and Hogwarts Icons), I would say the D2C is either a bust with a specialized mini figure plaque, a Marvel version of the Jurassic Park Gate with an oversized monument (maybe the Avengers Logo, as others have said), or something related to the Infinity Stones. I think maybe a new, giant Gauntlet or a box of the Stones with brickbuilt stones with lighting features and figures linked to each stone. I think that's a bit unrealistic for a $500 set though. -

I heard somewhere that originally Lloyd and Nya were considered for the Ultra Combo Mech too, being a sword and shield, but that idea was scrapped. I'd love to see any other concepts or future additions to the mech to add in Lloyd and Nya. Maybe a future set with two vehicles for them that can combine together on their own. Anyone have any cool ideas? I think it could have been cool to have a motorcycle for Nya that could split up and cover up the open pins and holes on the inner arms of Cole's vehicle when in Mech mode. Maybe then Lloyd could have some kind of other vehicle like a basic car that can be attached somewhere to the upper body of the mech, maybe instead his vehicle could've been a helmet or even beefier head instead of having the small head be a part of Jay's flyer. -

I think if you use the neck fur coat thing that was used for the imperial conveyex gunner in the solo sets, and use that for the Armorer, i think it makes her figure feel more complete. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/273675634901 -

I'm working on some instructions now actually! I was able to find the old set without figures on Ebay for about 50 bucks so I jumped at it, especially since I plan on getting the new one. And yep, only parts from the two sets with 6 inverted slopes (4 of https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2449#T=C, 2 of https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3747b#T=C). the backside of the garage build is definitely the least camera friendly angle but I'm sure with some extra parts you could make it pretty, but it works with the pieces you're given. -

I was curious to see what kind of compound you could build with both the new and old versions so I came up with a larger model and I've attached the photo and I think it looks quite good. The only extra parts I used were two door frames inside the main building for support and then 4 inverted slopes, so 6 extra pieces total. There were about 50 pieces leftover that probably could've been used for more interior detailing. -

the only thing I wish they gave to the MK85 was arm printing just to spice it up a bit. Especially since legit nobody in that set comes with leg printing (besides Iron Man) and no arm prints for Thanos. I also don't think theres a figure out there with either dual molded gold and red arms or gold arms with red printing or vice versa. C3P0 has a gold right arm with amazing prints but there's no left arm to match. Edit: Maybe the Monkey King's arms from the CMF? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=973pb3652c01#T=C&C=59 I know the colors are inverted but its the closest that is available. Has anyone tried this?
