    It's not that I agree with your claim, but something has felt "off". I agree with @NinjaJayNuva about the animation. When I watch some scenes with the Vermillion they seem like the set animations. Things seem to look less realistic somehow.

    Some people from Finland have been nice enough to translate some scenes from Ep. 65-69. From this, more detail on the Time Twins' plans have possibly been revealed.

    The first five episodes are all up on Youtube. The animation is wonderful, and the new style is... interesting. We already knew this but it seems as if Wu makes lloyd the definite leader of the team. Also, 'Line in the Sand' is VERY classic Ninjago (my personal favorite episode out of the five).

    I was thinking on if Hands of Time would receive a second wave of sets (similarly to Rebooted and partially, Skybound). Probably not, because of the movie, but who knows.

    Could you post a photo of the TV show image of the Time Twins facing Nya and Kai? The one on the back of the box.

    I know it's been posted already but here's a larger and more HD image of the ninja and Wu from the LNM.

    From multiple set pictures it seems like the "Time Twins" are the main villains of this season. Also looks like their names are "Acronix and Crux". Seems like they forced the parents to forge Iron Doom, along with many of the other Vermillion vehicles. This may seem like a contrived plot device, but it makes a lot of sense. It was also confirmed that the Vermillion ARE in fact small snakes that envelope in armor to become humanoid warriors.

    That actually makes sense. One twin is older as they were "lost in time". It is likely that one twin grew old in the present while another was trapped in the past.

    Along with the new images it's now been confirmed that Kai receives a new face in "Dragon Forge".

    New image! Seems to feature five Elemental Masters, two Vermillion, multiple samurai, and Garmadon and Wu.

    In the largest set of the wave, Dragon Forge, there is a gold-plated Vermillion. Maybe that gold signified the Overlord? I don't know, I'm still of the fence with the Overlord returning.

    Finished up watching DotD online a few hours ago, and I must say... it's pretty good. Nothing more, nothing less. This special had its highs and its lows. Pros: -Villains returning (interactions) -Everything with Yang and Cole -Plot -Action was great though! Cons: -The villain fights were a bit short -The special seemed a bit rushed -The underuse of the new vehicles. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Also, really loving how there will be two sensei again!

    Photo of one of the larger sets with Jestro is out in the wild. Jestro looks pretty cool, and his GIANT "tank" looks nice, too. Monstrox is literally a cloud, hovering above the tank.

    Can you tell if the Archer's hood from MFS 16 is used for the Vermillion?

    Did the images for the sensei robes have any descriptions like the other suits? Ex: As how the "Fusion" suits talked of destiny and time.

    Totally agree with you, Tazakk. I mean, the Ninjago Movie was supposed to come out this year, but got pushed back. This season, along with 'Hands of Time', shouldn't exist.

    I'm with 'ya with the animation, but there are also some visual errors. In one frame, Jay is missing his eyebrows. When the two motorbikes combine to form the Raider, Kai and Nya switch places. Just some small errors, I guess.
