    Stunning!
  3. @msx80 Hello! What a wonderful program you've put together, thank you! I am having a problem running Blueprint version 26 on my Mac laptop. It will open the LDD file, then it shows all the part names, but no images appear. Is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance for your time.
  4. Down The Rabbit Hole by Quentin Collins, on Flickr Down, down, down! Would the fall never come to an end? There was nothing else to do, so Alice soon began talking to herself. "Dinah'll miss me very much tonight, I should think!" (Dinah was the cat.) "I hope they'll remember her saucer of milk at tea-time. Dinah, my dear, I wish you were down here with me!" - Lewis Carroll - 1865

[MOC] Alice in Wonderland: Down The Rabbit Hole

Thanks so much! I had actually considered holding on to this for just such a contest but I just couldn't sit on it! Glad you noticed Dinah! She was a last minute flash of inspiration. Thank you! Thanks! I appreciate it, thank you! Thank you. Originally it was going to be a tea set on a sideboard, but I felt that the furniture was getting to bulky and wanted something a little "airier". The tiny door was one of the first elements I dealt with. I was always fascinated by it as a kid! Very nice words, thanks! I actually didn't intend on the photo posting so large here, but I think the scroll view really works! Thank you!

Many thanks! I put a lot of thought into making the figures stand out against the setting and limiting my colors.

[MOC] The Prank Call of Cthulhu

Thank you! Glad that it's inspiring you to read some Lovecraft and Cthulhu. My evil plan is working! Mwa ha ha ha! Thank you! Thank you, that is so great to hear! Your steampunk elephant is inspiring me to try larger, more complicated models. Glad you liked it! Thank you Thanks. Nice to hear it gave you smile! The SW tile was almost out of necessity, but I decided i really liked the detail. I am a pretty new builder and an even newer photographer so I'm looking to improve my skills in both things! He lives in a grand kingdom under the sea where he lies sleeping, awaiting his return to devour the world! Can I interest you in this leather bound Necronomicon? Thanks a lot! While HP might not have intended humor, he did invite his peers to write in his world. I'm sure he might not appreciate it, at least I have his permission. LOL Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn! And Thanks!

  13. Li'l Vlad's 107th Birthday by Quentin Collins, on Flickr "The kids arrived and dutifully put their presents on the table. Truth be told, they didn't really want to come, they all thought Li'l Vlad was a bit creepy. However their mothers had insisted that they go, mostly because they wanted to get a peek inside the old mansion themselves. As they took their seats around the table, the children were horrified to discover the rather dangerous buffet laid out before them. Then Li'l Vlad's mother arrived with the cake, all smiles and fangs. Needless to say, his next birthday party was sparsely attended..." This is my first attempt at a larger vignette and my third MOC overall. I had a blast building it! As you can tell, I like the spooky stuff with a sense of humor. This is also the first story I've ever attached to one of my pieces. It was inspired by some of the great ones I've seen around here.

    [MOC] Li'l Vampire's Birthday Party

Thanks! The bat wings were a last minute inspiration. I opened a mix and there they were, begging to be used. Luckily for me, the fit exactly in the space that needed filling!

  17. Hello everyone! I'm Quentin and I'm an AFOL from the US, California specifically. I am a relatively new builder and am just now starting to branch out into MOCs having mostly put together kits. I have been enjoying EB and the recent CMF Contest encouraged me to try something on my own and to join the forums. This is my first foray into a Lego community and I'm pretty excited to connect with other folks. I have a penchant for fantasy and especially horror/spooky subjects so you'll se that reflected in my work. I also really enjoy the modular buildings and working on a city block for my house. Currently, I'm redesigning the Toy and Grocery store kit into a modular piece. My current MOC work is on a 32x32 base and is a medieval cottage and windmill. I look forward to chatting with some of you and being inspired by all the great work here! - Quentin Collins

Wild Things & A New Medieval Building guide

You are the person who inspired me to build in the first place. Such incredible style and details. Thank you for all the inspiration and your guide has been indispensable to my creative process.
