Hello all I have tried to write a overview on the Pirate theme as a whole (huge task I know), I have used brickpieda and brickset as a source of my information, but also added my opinions as well. I would like to see what all you Pirate Pros think of it, mostly I am just looking at the different factions and the minifigs that came with them, following the theme from start to finish. If I have missed anything please tell me Lego Pirates Comments would be great. Thanks

Cheers for the comments, I have now added the clipper and orignal flagship, they should have been included. I am english but i am dyslexic so i mix up the words a bit , when i have time i will go through it properly and check my mistakes, if you see any more though please tell me because i want the post to be as good as i can make it thank you all for reading, i hope to do a few of these look closer into each wave i discribed in this post, analysisng each set realeased over each period. take care all wow, just changed the where and were problem, man way too many mistakes i think its ok now though thanks

Hello Everyone, This is my first pirate Moc, I wanted to make a small lookout post designed to see across the vast ocean(for my Blueies) with a small ship as transport, to warn the main fort if anything is approaching. Sadly I don't have the greatest number of bricks, and my sails are a little small, but overall I'm quite pleased. Overview The Ship Close Up The Front Door And most Importantly the Top of the Tower The Post's only Cannon Inside the Fort, The Kitchen Space The Dinner Table Thanks for looking, I hope you liked it Comments would be nice.

Thanks This Moc was made with the imperial trading post and Imperial Outpost, I also used quite a few extra bricks from my spares (proberly a 50/50 split), as when I was little my older cousin just gave be a big tube full of bricks and those extra bricks have been handly everythime I made some thing. The flag was something I bought off Brick link because all my Bluies are hand me downs or from car boot sales and I really wanted a base for them. Of course now the reds have no where to stay but I just keep them in a box for the time being. The ship I made has the sea serpents base and enchanted island sail (slightly repaired if you look closely) and then the rest is again from my spares box. Best way to make a Moc is to do exactly what your doing, look at other for insperation and then get creative, best of luck with all your Mocing.

Really Nice Tower great use of technic pieces which i never use well in my own creations. reminds me of a nectoric guard tower in warcraft 3. looks like it would zap enemys with its green crystal

The only parts i used from the sea serpent was the boat shaped parts for the base of the ship, everything else was built with using scrap pieces from my unidentified bricks box,

Thanks, I have the Trading post and I use the ship from that for my red imperials, this boat was made using the sea serpent part from the old castle line, the sail was take from the little boat you get in the enchanted island set. I like small er ships more than bigger one's, sadly TLG doesn't make many.

Your MOC is great, it looks like a offical forestmen set, I too would buy it. One idea for a minor improvement, would be to add an escape hatch in the back, or a ladder leading up to the top, or possily a fire place with food for cooking. But it looks really nice

Crownies are a very nice looking faction Maybe a tad on the nutral side, but over all still quite nice. Boring factions for mw are the crazy jelly bean Knights, everything else is ok

OMG Flippers for a roof. Fantastic idea. Also the Baricade (do i detect a duplo fence in there) and fire effect. and the use of Blue Soldiers and the lamp post and awersome cobblestones. Everything is soo good. Just one question, why is the dead guy on the barricade smiling. Fantastic Moc

Some fantastic new additions to the pirate collection, especially like the new redcoat print and white lined black tricorns I'm still just a little sad their all peach coloured. but that won't stop me getting some of them
