No, no one did, the character cards are only in the sets from the fourth movie ...
-
Does the frontfig of the Black Pearl count as well? I noticed there's a gray statue like minifig included ...
-
Well Duke Nukem's head is supposed to be squareish ... Anyway nice work on Tyrael!
-
Nice idea in the first place and soem really nice designs afterwards! Love the SW and the Fallout helmet! Just one suggestion for making Duke more recognizable - make his hair more squarish - remove the cheese slopes on sides and add the tiles just like in the middle. Also a cigar would suite him well. I'd really love to make some of theese in real, but I lack the cheese slopes in all the colors, which are a sort of the main piece in the build.

Kalen Zupix, the alien assassin
MstrOfPppts replied to Darth Yogi's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Really cool job on this custom. I love it for the simple reason its so LEGOish. Just like TLG would of done it with some capes and an modified hair piece. Only the eyes might as well be just printed / painted, but they don't stick out too much. I really prefer this way of customisation to other techniques using all different materials on minifigs like foam, real hair, metal rings ... Very well done and good luck in the competition! -
And another is the new city docs with cargo ship. Nice modification, though I'd still change a few things - since your cabin is now that high, I'd use the longer castle arcs at the back. Also to make it more movie accurate, I'd remove the last hatch and put the doors and the stairs about 5-6 studs forward for a longer cabin. Can't wait to get my hands on this beauty and tear it apart for MODs. Also have to bricklink the spare black hull parts, won't have money for two sets ...

One more question came to my mind - for the 1st category, does the vig have to be 32 by 32 studs or is it allowed to be smaller and 32 x 32 are the maximum dimensions?

Lego pirates of the Caribbean: The video Game
MstrOfPppts replied to Forresto's topic in Culture & Multimedia
First of all sorry for bringing up this old thread, but I've spent the whole evening searching for how to make a screenshot of this game, but had no luck. Disney is advertising too much, so all search results are useless. Anyone came across a solution? -
And why is that so? The first UCS or other collectors stuff meant mostly for AFOL was in the star wars theme if I'm not mistaken, which is a licensed theme just like POTC. Others like castle and creator stuff came years after that ...
-
Just a quick question - thoigh I probably won't find time to participate. For the second category it doesn't say does the minifig the vignete is built for have to contain the minifig that it's built for or it can / must not be in there? Confused for the Collectable minifigs contests that disallow them, and other rules are similar ...

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
MstrOfPppts replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Since people are putting on all the stuff that are also not actual set projects, I've decided to put this on as a suggestion. Problem is though I don't have facebook nor any similar media to share it and the view count is very low. Supprot and feel free to share around and we might get noticed: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/1580. Sorry in advance if there's something wrong with this ... -
What? Fire fighters and police are made every second year if not every year, and they still sell. And I must say the next years wave is pretty damn good! Also Everything was done in classic pirates, and I and many more find the POTC theme very welcome - new sails, new colors, new pieces and of course the minifigs ... There would be new fleshy minifigs, newer and nicer torsos and in each set a new piece or two, which everyone would find usefull for mocing or expanding his castle theme in some way! I think that the LOTR is a big possibility and also support the idea!

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
MstrOfPppts replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Strangely, I've been reading everywhere that the line did pretty good :) Also a guy on our LUG forum said that the second wave is coming, but I'm really getting more and more sceptical every day - still no news, leaks nor rumors ... -
Oh, I was taking about LDD, don't know about the Ldraw ...
-
Yes that is the case. Also the roped ladders are only the straight new ones, not the older ones that were slightly angled, which I prefer to the new ones. I guess they mentioned LDD not being optimized enough for containing all the existing pieces, once I was asking about all the missing decals in the Digital subforum ...
-
@kevblee: if you don't have the front piece of the ship in LDD, you might be using an older version, where the middle piece was in there but only the vikings front/back if I'm not mistaken. Update LDD to the newest version it's 1.4 I think ...

The Underwater Version Contest Voting
MstrOfPppts replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Some very nice entries and a really fun contest. I didn't find time to enter, but as a member of communitiy feel obliged to vote. 8. darkdragon's There's a new Sheriff in town! - 2 points 7. lisqr's Subs - 1 point 6. wuntin's The Sunken Castle - 1 point 4. Oky's The Sunken Ruins of the Royal Knights' Castle - 1 point -
Really nice dio, and I too love those fleshies!!! So many ... I just wouldnt't mix in the NBA players, since it gives some pirates the Clonewarish eyes - which I don't mind saperatly, but they don't fit in the mix with the normal eyed guys. For me it's like mixing fleshies with yellow heads. Here the yellow headed guy fits quite nice as a chinese! (:

[MOC] Tokyo International Underwater Circuit
MstrOfPppts replied to lisqr's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As mentioned another brilliant idea of underwater version without any divers or Atlantis beasts around and instantly recognizable set I really love the job on converting all the cars into subs or other nautical vehicles! Good luck in the contest! -
Great work. I was about to do an entry of the exact same set, but sadly I never found time for it. My idea though was to make a brick built floor and make half of the castle disappear in the underwater sand - so the ground level would be around where the main gate starts ... Didn't think of the destructed rooftops though, very nice touch on those! Also the amount of foliage and underwater stuff is huge and adds a lot to the detail of the surrounding area. Good luck in the competition!

[MOC] Underwater Version of 6755
MstrOfPppts replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Outstanding! This is the best entry in my opinion, mostly for two reasons. One is because it's an older set and the Western was one of my favorite themes when I was younger. Second, it's the very clever usage of Spongebob characters instead of the different themes divers, which are quite common in everyone's underwater vision of a set! Of course it's also very well detailed and nicely destructed by the waters ... Great job and good luck in the competition! -
The model does look promissing, though some details still seems very odd. The part under the cabbin is awful and the rudder? It fits more to a 50W motor boat, not the ship ... The minifigs are awesome, but they too have a flaw. The first one is their selection as discussed before, do we really need another Gibs and Will, with so many characters still missing. And on the Daavy Jones' crew part, I think they really miss the leg printings. Their legs just look too clean. Hadras is a nice example how it should be done. Still can't wait to get my hands on this piece!

[KEY TOPIC] LDD 4 Bugs and brick errors
MstrOfPppts replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Just recently came across this bug - don't know if it's LDD or my computer (it's been acting strange lately). But, it works fine unless I combine the two bricks in the image in the way they are connected on the left. Also that works fine, but whenever I try to select both pieces and mover or rotate them, LDD instantly crashes without any warnings ... Hope it's not been discussed yet, I really didn't read the whole thread ... Just wonder if anyone has similar problems? -
Lego Spongebob Squarepants 2011 Discussion Thread
MstrOfPppts replied to buddy's topic in LEGO Licensed
According to the set number, you can see it's exactly next to the one from the SpongeBob series, which was already rumored around a while ago and has nothing to do with Pirates nor Pirates of the Carribean theme. There is a Flying Dutchman in that series as well though I don't watch it and don't know who or what it is ... -
Just curious, are the stickers applied already? Also what are the prices you're looking for? I'm interested in 8036 and 8093. What would the postage be to Slovenia?
