  1. Only 339 days till christmas!

  2. I actually noticed that too. There's always something to "collect" within a theme - but that's not a bad thing! What concers me is that TLG are more and more trying to attract kids by always including huge monsters in their sets! Nowadays there are no "realistic" or "sober" action sets anymore. This: has evolved into this: But they can't be blamed, of course. Lego is a toy. Cheers!

Would you open a MISB SYSTEM Pirate set?

For me personally, you'd have to draw a line between a MISB set I already have a copy of or a MISB set that I do not yet own in opened state. With both it's rather easy. The first one I'd keep as a reassurance, but only if I really loved the set - I'd like the fact that I always 24/7 had a brand new spare copy of it at hand in case of something "happening" to my opened one. I would know I could always take pleasure in a particular set's brand new condition if I ever badly wanted to. And if we're not talking about a set I really like but find rather Meh!: it gets sold in order to buy sets I like! Now with a MISB set I haven't got an opened copy of, I have to decide what I would appreciate more: said set in brand new condition or the money it would bring if I sold it. However, I would never ever buy a new set with the strict intention of never opening it. Only if I planned on giving it to someone as a present or passing it on to my children if I ever get any. But that's a different story! Cheers! And MISB sets on!
  4. Good point - something just came to my mind when I read it: Time Cruisers is exactly the kinds of structures I irritatedly saw being built when I was a child and we had other children over who were messing playing with my Lego! One couldn't provide a more precise description of the theme! Seriously!

    MOC IG-88

Very nice! Just a shame the legs can't be made more solid if you build him like that. Enpaz

    [MOC] Hänschen klein "Little Hans"

At first I thought this what about "Hänsel and Gretel" but I somewhat missed the gingerbread house so I checked the title again. It looks very nice nonetheless! I like the natural surroundings. Adios!

    Ninjago Dojo

Really good, NewRight! I love the "stringed" entryway with the lamps (or whatever it is - they look good). Also the roofs to its sides are remarkable! On the other hands there's that awesome statue, too. Looks so much like a MMV-converted-to-the-Ninja-theme-styled official Lego set! Enpaz

    MOC: "Where Amelia Landed"

Looks very nice, buddy! I can't really express it in words but the natural invironment in your MOC has something very attractive to it. Keep it up! Cheers!

    Review: 20019 Slave I

I love this set, and your review perfectly showcases what it's got, Inky! I really really really want to get it but I won't don't want to pay 20 euros for it. I'll see that I can get it for cheaper than that. Cheers!

    Khepri Futuristic APC

Ahh it's so smooth! Great job on it. The shape gives it a real armored look - it seems like nothing could stop it! Nice one, Basiliscus!

    L45 Starfleet Voyager

Very impressive Giovanne, it's awesome! I really should check by the Sci-Fi forum more often. Enpaz
  13. Now that is seriously impressive! Looks exactly like one of those huge space crafts from popular Sci-Fi movies. Really good-looking. And it's even got an interior! Which is very nice, by the way. How long did it take you to build that thing? I'm curious. Do you plan on building it for real in the near future? I definitely would sometime.

    Newspaper Article

Someone really didn't understand the purpose of Lego there! Thanks for sharing. It should be explained to them that such a "useless pile of Lego bricks" actually would help their child develop and gather imagination, creativity and whatnot. IGNORANCE for the win!
  15. I'm afraid so!

    REVIEW: 4805 Ninja Knights

Great review Brickster! This is a set I got multiples of at the time of its release. It seems that even my parents had understood the importance of owning many of them. It's truly a bad thing such "troop sets", as you call it, aren't produced any more. Cheers!
