Mine does the same thing, always feels like the right hand side (when looking at it head on) Need to figure if it's something slightly misaligned in my build or a more general issue.

First ever trip to a Lego store today (Bluewater, UK) and my first two cups. Went a bit mad on smaller items (they're just so lovely to pick up by the handful) with 170 trains-blue studs, 120 eyes, 100 each of red and pink flowers and much much much more. Combined with a few bigger bricks and plates, plus some wheels I am happy with the collection of pieces. After a few hours sorting and counting it was a total of just over 1700 pieces. Even better (for me, not for Lego) was they forgot to run them through the till... I also picked up two modular buildings and whilst it was slightly less then I felt it should be but I wasn't really paying much attention (distracted by all the Lego) and using some points off my VIP card. Only just checked my receipt and no cups charged on it! Funny as they did remeber to out the reuse labels on! Result!
