Prince of Persia Animated GIF made in LDD
liquidmetalrob posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hey guys, I just wanted to share my latest LDD creation. I like making video game sprites out of LEGO and I thought it'd be cool to try making an animated GIF. So here it is, I'm pleased with how it turned out. -

That doesn't work. Selecting multiple bricks and then painting them only works with colours already in the palette. Thanks for the tip. -

I know you can do this, but it still doesn't allow you to select a lot of bricks and change them all to one of the extra colours. I'm pretty sure that doesn't work in Extended mode, which is what I'd like to use the colours in. -

Is there any way to get all these colours to appear in the LDD palette? -
Lego website still offers LDD 4.3.6 by default?

Any ideas why when you go to download LDD you still get 4.3.6 instead of 4.3.8? -
Update issue: Only red in palette - Colouring in LDD
liquidmetalrob replied to mufc's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I can confirm that disabling the auto-update feature as described and then copying back in the palette folder fixes the problem. I've uploaded a zip file of the palette folder that I took from a clean installation on an offline computer so I hope it help you guys out. http://www.mediafire.com/download/us4bdj1m7uxb8x4/Palettes.zip -
I know this thread has been quiet for a long time but I'm interested in this topic. I make video game characters out of LEGO and post pictures on Twitter (http://twitter.com/liquidmetalrob). Do you think it's worth emailing LEGO and asking to buy some skin coloured bricks?
