    Can you be re-assembled?

Heh, good poster. Nice minifig choice also.
  2. "Great, now stop bugging me about buying these". I have a bad tendency to annoy people who aren't doing anything with their LEGO to sell them...

    lego hedgehog

Oh, I thought they used the same numbers. Where can LEGO's code be found?

    lego hedgehog

According to Bricklink, it is 98944pb01

    DINO Hunter

Interesting idea for the field. Reminds me of the scene in Jurassic Park 2 where the raptors are chasing the people through a field, and eating picking them off one by one.

    [MOC] Light Star Freighter

Looks great. I like that thin red stripe near the top, took a second to figure out how you did that. I agree, looks a lot like an engine or perhaps a really big gun. Does look like a ship though too.

    Storage and Sorting LEGO

Technically I don't either, it's in my bedroom. However, since the only non-LEGO related thing in the room is my bed (which when I'm not sleeping is used as a second work table), and a bookshelf (Which is mostly covered in MOCs and small sets), I just call it a LEGO room.

    Storage and Sorting LEGO

All the time. My LEGO room is currently so packed with boxes of parts (and MOCs, sets, unopened boxes, etc) that I can't even walk around. Got it mostly cleaned up now though, screwed some of the sorting containers into a wall to add extra space.
  9. Fairly interesting. Mostly stuff I already guessed, but nice to see it quantified.

    Fantasy Castle vs. Kingdoms

    1. 5615 The knight: I like both of them a lot (Though I only actually got the Wizard set...) but The Wizard is only useful to get one, while The Knight is helpful for getting a lot to make an army. 2. Crossbow attack: Better figs, and I like the crossbow thing better than the catapult. 3. Outpost attack: While I like the tower from Tower Raid better, the catapult is better looking in my opinion than the attack tower thing. 4. King's Carriage Ambush: Better looking carriage. 5. Prison Tower Rescue: Better looking, way less huge parts (Dragon in Skeleton Tower for example) 6. King's Castle: Generally better designs I think. Although, I always find LEGO's castles to be a bit bad, since they are so tiny and have missing walls to play inside and such. Easy way for enemies to get it... 7. MMV: Great buildings, plus first set to have cows, and lots of civilians. The Joust set is great as well, especially with that Falcon knight. 8. Castle advent calendar: Better figs I think. 9. Mill Village Raid: Lots of animals, civilians, and better designs than Skeleton Ship Attack. Ship Attack also lost points for the giant hull part used, as I normally hate prefab parts. While Kingdoms won more in this, I do like Fantasy Castle better. It has better figs I think (And a mix: Humans, Dwarves, Trolls, Orcs, skeletons, etc, vs 2 kinds of human knights.) The MMV also is good enough to add a lot to this theme I think.

    MOCpages down?

Down for me too, since sometime yesterday.

    More Sound Bricks

I agree. They cost too much, they take up space that could be used by more interesting designs in a set, and they are difficult to use in MOCs. That said, I do agree with the previous suggestion for customizable sound bricks, with a USB connection to a computer. It could be useful for a few things.

    The Toxicrill

Impressive dragon. The purple and red color scheme works well here. Looks like the articulation is very good. Interesting use of clips for the teeth, I can't decide if I like it or not. The purple hat looks great as a tongue though. I like the landscaping as well.

    Space hog

Looks nice. Looks well used. The slope on the front looks nice, the way it covers part of the steering handle.
  15. TLG wouldn't prohibit it, there is a store near where I live that sells old LEGO (and sometimes new stuff, but not as often). I don't think he actually has much of any interaction with TLG for that though, his old stuff he buys from people in the area and sites like eBay, and new sets he just gets from regular stores (Toys R Us, wal-mart, etc). I agree with this post a lot. It's not a very good time to be opening an independent store right now, particularly something like LEGO that people generally can't easily afford with the economic situation. Making it a general hobby store though, and putting LEGO in one section, other stuff in other areas, etc, would probably increase chances of selling stuff.

    Storage and Sorting LEGO

Hmmm. Were they put together? I left a few complete sets and disassembled parts in a car that was about 100 degrees, and only the ones that were put together had problems (namely reduced clutch power).
  17. I recently got a new tablet running android, and was wondering if there is a version of LDD or a similar program for Android. I did a quick Google search and found nothing. If anyone knows of an app like this, I would appreciate it.

Where do Rare/HTF Parts come from?

Well, personally I don't mind sharing instructions, although I only occasionally do it unless somebody requests it, since to make the instructions I have to take the MOC apart to see how I put it together, and it takes a long time (Normally about 2 days in LDD for an average MOC).

New modular building? 10224 Town Hall

Looks interesting, I might get it. I agree. Also, a town hall seems to me like the sort of thing that would be separate from other buildings, not right up against them.

How much did you spend on Lego in 2011?

Not sure how much I spent myself (Trouble remembering what I bought and what I got as gifts, etc), but I'd estimate it at around $1500-$2000 USD. Part of that is from a Brickworld trip though, so it was unavoidable...

    Starfighter KLT 37BL-70 "Blue Vengeance"

All sorts of awesome on this. I really love the horseshoe shape, and the greeblyness looks good. The stickers also look good on it.

    MOC: Earth Defender

Great design, PF scifi MOCs are too rare. I wish real Alien Conquest sets were more like this. Too bad it doesn't have steering.
  23. If you know the set, go to bricklink, search for it, and go to it's category entry. Then click the link saying "View Inv" (Under "This set consists of on the right side of the screen). That shows all of the parts in the set. I believe the part you are looking for is This.

    The Future of Ninjago

Not a big fan of the Ninjago sets, but I hope it does continue for a while longer. Lots of interesting parts and figures. The Pirates thing sounds interesting though, I might get some of those if they actually do come out.

    Lanselot Obvilion

Nice mech 'Feeld'. I like the head design, simple but effective. Looks like it's fairly poseable also. The feet look rather small though, I think it would look better if they were 2 studs wide.
