    Baritones 3: The Conclusion

I needed to proxy someone, and didn't want to just proxy some random person, as I thought that could look somewhat scummy on my part. That was my only tactic Considering the circumstances you found yourself in that day and your behaviour, I thought you'd make a good proxy, which is what I tried to explain when proxying you. I don't know how my proxy was percieved by others, though, but at least it was never questioned in public. Proxy proxy proxy proxy; try saying that a few times in a row

    Baritones 3: The Conclusion

Thanks, Hinckley, for a truly epic and entertaining game (some of those interludes would have made Johnny Bode blush)! And I know it takes more than one person to tango, so thanks heaps to all the players as well, especially my scummy partners! If I could do something differently, I would have been more active in the day threads, writeboard and other channels. I hope to redeem myself in future games. I can't complain about the end result, though, as scum won

I've uploaded my receipt for the King's Castle to my Brickshelf account at http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/KartoffelViking/receipts/kings_castle.jpg if anyone needs it. BrettBrick: thanks for the info about the display cases at Big W, looks like they will get some more of my money

I'm not sure, sorry. They used to have a few (three at least), but the one I found was tucked in between some of the new Kingomds sets, and when I saw it I just grabbed it, walked to the nearest scanner, smiled and never looked back Btw, has anyone seen the new minifigure display cases anywhere else than at TRU?

That's a bummer, sorry about that. This was Big W at TTP (Adelaide), btw.

Target has series 5 minifigs as well, but at $4.90 a pop I'll be ordering from overseas. King's Castle can now be picked up for $78 from Big W, down from $148. Myer TTP also had received the Red Cargo Train, but wasn't putting it on the shelves just yet.
  7. Bugger, I'm dead as a dodo I'm sorry I didn't participate more, it might have saved me from the poisoner at least. Note to self; don't sign up unless I can commit 100 % to the game. Thanks to Hinckley and the rest of you for a fantastic game so far! I'm looking forward to see how this continues, and eventually learning who my killer is
  8. I'm heading down south again and will be offline for the next 12 hours or so (long flight from Helsinki to Singapore).

    Baritones 3: Day Five

The bad news is that Nika seems to have blown herself to bits. The worse news is that we lynched on of our own last night. The good news is that there hasn't been a poison kill yet. As for who to vote off today, I think I would like to gather some more information before making any decisions. The only time we lynched a piece of scum was when we used the information from Ruxana to convict Donil. Surely someone saw or did something last night that may be of help to us today, or are we back to no concrete information and only speculation to go by?

    Baritones 3: Day Four

Well it certainly doesn't matter now, but in the interest of self preservation and avoiding the wrath of the gods, I will Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator)

    Baritones 3: Day Four

Poor Barbara. She might have had some "interesting" theories, but she was nevertheless one of us. While Ruxana seems like a obvious candidate, I agree that we should hear what she has to say first, considering she lead us to Donil's conviction yesterday. We owe her that.

    Baritones 3: Day Four

Stanislav was truly the voice of reason, I will miss him. And I'm very happy we took out Donil. I'm now looking forward to hearing what Ruxana may have discovered during the night
  13. Hinckley; your storytelling is inspirational Poor Vera must have had some bad experiences with bearded men...
  14. Hehe, thank you muchly! Unfortunately there's no dog and no dongle, I just had to add the mother of all excuses to my existing list of bad excuses :-)

The dog ate my dongle My first title as well. Probably given to me by Hinckley or Big Cam, for utilising the oldest excuse in the book in the Baritones 3 discussion thread

    Baritones 3: Day Three

Considering the information presented so far today, I will Vote: Donil (Waterbrick Down) And to add to the list of far-fetched theories; the person hiding inside R2-D2 would have to be very small or flexible. I don't think we have any unusually short people among us, but our dear yoga instructor Barbara should be able to bend and twist her body for all kinds of purposes. But I don't really believe a clue would be that easy, so I think that theory can be buried.

    Baritones 3: Day Three

Ivan told us to look around carefully, does this include looking back at last night's festivities? I seem to remember that someone dressed like a crazy scientist poored Padme a drink. Could it be that she has been poisoned? By the vigilante? And Elena was carrying a magnifying glass shortly before she was killed, did the scum get our investigator already? Or am I just seeing things that aren't there? Also, who could fit in the R2-D2 suit? A contortionist? Are any of these clues/ideas significant?
  18. My apologies for being rather absent the last few days. I've been doing some time consuming inter-continental traveling, and spent many hours driving along detours due to various floods in Norway. And the dog ate my Wi-fi dongle

    Baritones 3: Day Two

It's hard to argue against those arguments, although it almost seems too convenient. I find Eugene's death very puzzling, as surely he was not killed for his public behavior of yesterday. Which leads me to believe that he was killed for what he knew or claimed to know. Timur; can you shed some more light on this "evidence" issue Eugene was talking about?

    Baritones 3: Day One

Since I may not be able to log on raise my voice later on, I will proxy: Nika (CorneliusMurdock) I do this because I like how she did not rush into anything even when she was the recipient of the first vote, she seems to have kept a cool head.

    Baritones 3: Day One

Eugene; kudos to you for having the balls to cast the first vote, you have my respect. That said, I think Nika's repeated attacks on you are just a few shades more scummy than your eagerness to vote for her, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it But, it will be interesting to see what Nika has to say about this situation.

    Baritones 3: Day One

Whoah, I've certainly been busy with all those folks leaving town. Lots of opportunities to write fines But I believe I'm off duty now, so I may as well have a drink while waiting for everyone to make their presence known. We have tough decisions to make ahead of us, and we'd better make sure our choices are as informed as they can be. Some say we are likely to make the wrong decision today, but let's at least not make it a rushed one. And with a bit of luck, we'll be sending a piece of scum on their merry way to hell!
  23. Hi there, I'm Highway Patrol Officer Vera, ready to serve and protect. And write fines. Wise words indeed, but as long as you don't drink on the street, or relax in your pants, I won't fine you. Call it what you will, but smoking pot, or encouraging such behavior, is a crimial offence punishable by a hefty fine. But we have much more serious offences to look into now, so I'll turn a blind eye for now. You may continue
