That new helmet is actually disappointing. I will be swapping it out for old ones.

Very clever!

TLG posted this video today...
So the market research says that kids DO like the old stuff. So the annoying folks that keep saying they don't can officially eat a hat.
-
When TLG post this video today:
just about ANYTHING is possible... even though yesterday I would've said 0% chance of anything similar soon. Maybe something of Classic resemblance is actually in the works?
-
Ah. That was actually disappointing, but I do like the armour.

Gonna need pics!

I only disagree with #5, I think for children the 'dollshouse' format for play is very important. Otherwise the building needs to fold out, not just have a removable roof - that's too fiddly for kids. I never found any problem with imagining back or front walls on anything!

This is a characteristic of most Space, Castle & Pirates releases since early/mid 90s, and to their over-all detriment for long-time collectors like myself.
All of the waves & factions of Castle from 1984 to 1992(93?) or so went together seamlessly. Classic helmets didn't really gel with the visored replacement, so otherwise 1987 to 1993 or 96 Space (depending on one's opinion) was likewise seamless. Pirates was more like 1989 to 1993 or 94. Now, everything just sits in its own sandpit - too bad if your KKII knights, UFO aliens or such don't 'go' with anything else!
-
Great! More pics...?

No airtanks, but still wearing their helmets inside?

I don't need/want that set (hooray!)

I found the space lab set at Kmart... $50 instead of $70... now I remember why I only buy exclusive stuff from S@H!

It will be interesting to see if people still find a mix of large and small codes elsewhere as these start to pop up. Our releases down under have been a month later ever since 2020.
Has this series been demonstrated to have useful codes? Wouldn't surprise me if TLG repeated what they did when they found out we worked out the early series.
Â
The only series 25 boxes I saw were at Coles, and if that code is the large one I'd hate to see how small the small code is. Consequently I didn't try scanning it.

That is the saddest thing ever, all of those sets are terrific. At least the rats at the tip got to play with it all. Along with the red Futuron minifig (you know, the really rare one) that I lost somehow after it fell off the table and was never seen again. Don't know how many times I searched... vacuum cleaner must have eaten it.

Let's just say it took me a fair while afterwards to find all the bits on the floor, fix the drawbridge mechanism and swap back all the minifig components that got swapped around.
And they wonder why people resort to Kragle

Very nice! I agree about the face. Looks like he is saying "StarscreeEEEEAAAMMMMM!!!!"
You have to compromise somewhere on a G1 Megatron, the original toy looked terrible in robot mode, so if anybody can make a version that transforms and looks good in both robot & pistol mode, they are an absolute genius.
-
The leak was a preliminary render! Just like with the space series that just released. The image was a mock-up of the sheet, (ie not yet the final version to go to print) not a mock-up of the minifigs. They're all but locked in, 99%+, I'd expect.
Â
And it's still out there.

Get a whole stack of round tiles and write your own double digit numbers on them with permanent pen!

He has 13 Grammy awards, the first 2 of which were for doing the vocals on the Daft Punk song "Get Lucky", which you would also be familiar with, as it has been regularly played everywhere for over a decade.
But at least thanks to your post, I now know that BTS is "popular people" - whereas yesterday I still had no idea what that set was supposed to be, and today still don't know or care what it stands for.

Thanks for sharing, very nice to see together

Any space diner should by rights have a black Classic & a blue Futuron minifig a la Schwartz & Galanos from "Space - The Comic"
-
Bumblebee it is, apparently

Various websites tend to mostly use a dash/hyphen, you could say it's because the colon is not a valid character for file names. The logo has 2 offset triangles between the 'M' and the 'TRON', so I think using a colon is accurate. The catalogues had a colon.
In typical online style, the following page shows every possible manner of hedging-your-bets:

The City sets should've been in those colours (and thus also not labelled as City).
-
I don't care what TLG calls anything on their website - there's nothing written on the packaging or instructions of these, I'll call them whatever I want to.

I think that it can be removed from the filter list now.
It served its purpose - @10-15 years ago. It's not really tiresome anymore. (Hasn't been for years.) If it ever becomes a problem again, you can always bring it back.
Keeping it in now just confuses new members that don't know the old story.

The best use of the filter was when "April Fools" was replaced by "Disney Party"

All of that stuff could've been just to placate the rumbling nostalgiers, but that posted video is either hinting something, or is plain trolling
