I inherited all my cousin's Legoa5 or 6 years agho, with classic castle and pirate and town stuff and recentley I received my Dad's friend's son's Lego with lots of Harry Potter parts, although there was a knight aswell. And Those old town windows and the old minifigs without moving parts.

Blimey that's a lot of smilies, Captain Webb. But anyways, that's an impressive start! I've started mine and it's way better then ours or anyones! 7 people! HA! IN YOUR FACE! I've started my army with decals made by sir Dano. So they are the Crown Imperials! The toughest of them all. I'e enough swords, but only 2 pistols for them. Oh well, the have an entrance to Port Royal and a 10 gun ship. The pirates are doomed!
-
No, Chariots on Fire! I'd be interested to see it too. I think he must have made the picture with Photoshop(?)
-
Thanks! Hmm, I may do instructions sometime soon. Don't expect them to be like TLGs' instructions! @ Eilif, I know I've only started with minifigs and a few vehicles and scenery. Maybe the next time I'm getting a Lego set I could get the Beach House and make a few buildings withn that, or maybe another creator set, I saw one that had an alternate model the was like a few houses on the road. Thanks for the comments!
-
Hmmm, I'd use it to spend on a few sets, but that's not allowed, I think. I'd probably get Race for The Stolen Treasure (I think thats what it's called, or , well it's The Indiana Jones Truck Chase set.)
-
I justcame around this topic again and got an idea, maybe set up a small forum for lego Irish fans! I would join it, Because I'd say some irish AFOLs would look for Irish Lego communities sometimes. Hoping to hear more of this.
-
I'd sy I'll use all yours except for the Sam torso decal, I just like the one I made, no offense, because it's the first decal I made I liked: But the rest I will use, except the spartan Hang on, where's Johnny's skin on his body gone?
-
The strange thing is that this is available on www.lego.com! Here: http://shop.lego.com/product/Default.aspx?...amp;LangId=2057 I would ask tog et it if it was availible in Ireland.

I was thinking of those tubes that light travels through, I forget the names, but my Dad got me some a while ago when I asked for some, If I remember the name I'll post them. Attach it to the bulb and then attach the end of the wire to the lantern. It works.... EDIT: They are called Fibreoptics!
-
You know the lanterns? I'm guessing the Red Beard Runner might not have any, but look at the back of the Black Seas Barracuda and there are lanterns.
-
Any time BUT then, in my opinion. They could have gotten sued. I am very excited now. But sceptical. BRILLIANt find Sir Nadroj. Thanks for posting it.
-
Congratulations on getting the Red Beard Runner, I think. The lights work well in the cabin, you should try putting them on the ligehts on the backk of the ship! I tried it, it's very nice.
-
It looks almost as big as a kayak/canoe! But please don't try that to this..... I'm speechless to describe it..... One question, what is the yellow and black striped thing for? Measurements? Side of ship?
-
Have you seen Saber-Scorpions customs? At the bottom of THIS page is a recon armour Spartan, though I think the decal has WAAAAAAAAY too much detail, but thats because I like to see the bodies basic, anywho just to show you, now onto my request. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would like Sam Sinister / Baron Von Barron / Mr. Hates in this get-up. Curse my exreemly quick theme-swapping! It's gone city to star wars to indiana jones to pirates to (Yesterday) Indiana Jones to Adventurers. I something that may look good on Mr Baron. On topic, please for the head and body? Thanks. EDIT I would also like these two aswell: The dynamite decal: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/3069bp03?img=9014 And Johnny Thunder in his Indian Orient Expodition outfit. And face too, please! But you don't have to do the legs, thank you!!! EDIT 2: Sorry for all the edits, but I've decided to recycle my Ferrari team into a postal service, so please can I have this decal? (I'm going to run out of paper for printing soon....) EDIT 3: I tried making the Sam Sinister one, and I had fun making it, so sorry if someone was halfway through making these for me..... I will make these and post the when they are all done.

Axle replied to G.L.MAN's topic in General LEGO Discussion

54a Hello, everyone, I started making this ship last night, went to sleep and put the sails on this morning. Here is the result (and my breakfast): The rest of the pictures I will link to. Unfortunatley, as you can see, I still have to make the cannons, but still, here is where they will be. I quite like the yellow stripe going across the way. Here is the figure head. My favourite bit, the brick-built hull on the front. The Side; no rigging, unfortunatley..... How is that guy going to get down? The back looks like the Macdonalds M! Bigger Pictures In Gallery ( When Moderated) Please Comment!!! EDIT: Pictures are in.

Transport Ferry avalabile at UK Lego Online!
Axle replied to Joey Lock's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Yes, I noticed it a few days ago, €75 might be a bit too much, I think, but then again there looks to be a lot of small parts at the front. I would kill to see a review of this set.(The reviewer) EDIT: I just noticed after I posted it has 1274 pieces. Good deal, I think..... Then again I got 500 pieces for €10 once.... -
I apologize for my double post, but here is an update, with this new version I still have to put on sails and rigging, but oh well. Also, it's been taken over y Pirates, so could a mod take the H.M.S out of the title, please? Here's a full shot: I've added an extra deck, now it has cannons, 10 ports are taken up, and two are decoys. Soon I will put it in a brickfilm....... It goes well at the front, I think. Here is where the rigging will attach. I was at my friends house today, and he asked me if I wanted to take some parts. I left a rowing boat, but took these! And now to triple-promote my new sig-fig, Captain Axle of the White Lightning. We fill up our days by chasing the Black Seas Barracuda around all day. Wow, typing that has given me an idea for that film! :pir-skull: Comments and Constructive critism welcome, please reply!

Alright, I have a new one! Pirate-themed, so now it's Captain Axle to you!
-
Kind of, paper card They are stable though, not like regular paper..
-
I will try the string thing () soon, but I think my ship is too small. Thank you for the nice comment, though! How long would you say it would take to make the rigging?
-
No, it's okay, I know how to, thanks anyway, the pictures are in now, take a look!
-
Oh, carcus. I thought I was being smart doing that, because the pictures are very large.... I will have to re-upload them, smaller.... Watch this space.

Cutlass to foreshadow a return of the Pirate Theme?
Axle replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Pirates
I vote yes, and now have a NEW reason! There is a LEGO PIRATE in the Lego Club Magazine, here is a picture: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/axle417/...zin/pirates.bmp Other characters from left to right:Russian Soldier, Aqua raider, russian, Irirna Spalko, possible future pirate (?), Russian guard and Vladeks Shadow Knight! Close Up on the Pirate, maybe they will make new beard molds for them?: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/axle417/...in/piratein.bmp Also in the Cool Creations page is a nice Pirate ship, very nice sails and rigging, this was made by a 4 and 7 year old! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/axle417/...agazin/ship.bmp
