NickAb Posted September 4, 2011 (edited) Hello. I've made a roman legionnaire decal as part of my vector design software practicing. And I'm going to make more decals based on ancient theme in my spare time. Roman Legionnaire Flesh http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DarkoAb/Decals/Roman/legionnaire-flesh.png Yellow http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DarkoAb/Decals/Roman/legionnaire-yellow.png (Red torso, Reddish Brown belt, Tan or Yellow legs) Edited April 24, 2012 by NickAb
(Dutch) Posted September 4, 2011 Outstanding work. The overall design is perfect, the torso reminds me of a classic Lego torso and also having clean sharp lines help. If you would'nt mind could you tell me what graphics design program did you use to make these decal designs? Cheers -Dutch

I to have been thinking about buying Adobe Illustrator CS5 to improve my own decal designs. Just wondering how difficult is it to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator CS5? Cheers -Dutch It is quite easy to start working with illustrator if you had experience with other vector design software or adobe products. There are plenty of tutorials on the Internet (for example http://vector.tutsplus.com/). But it is hard to master. I just studied some basics as I was designing the legionnaire, but it is enough to design decals. Good luck Edited September 6, 2011 by NickAb
