FlyBoy Posted April 4, 2011 I started developing the framework for a more tactical pirate game that focuses more on crew management and properly manning your ship, as well as close quarters combat for boarding operations. I wanted to model damage to ships somewhat more detailed than ESPG, remove most of the RPG aspects from it, and basically design a tactical game rather than a role play/grand campaign style. More along the lines of a Brickwars game directly focused on the LEGO Pirates theme. I was waiting until I got more pirate ships to do it.. now that I have a few I should re-visit the framework.
