The 8448 V12 Dub Edition *Pic Heavy*

Recommended Posts

Hi all, i got bored a while ago and started modding the 8448 Street Sensation and because im 18 and into cars, i modded it :D, heres how it was when i first started:

sorry about the quality:

*Engine*

This is the V12, i had to extend the front of the car as the stock 8448 chassis would not house a V12 since it was created for a V8, as you can see there is an induction kit there aswell and more tubing, i was trying to make this as realistic as possible:

*Rear*

Here is the modding i did to the cars rear:

Creating a widebody kit for the back, this is the new rear panels:

Also i found a picture of the old rear of the car, so ill post it below with a pic of the new rear aswell.

I was also thinking of putting lighting in it to make it more realistic, had a little play on PhotoShop and did this:

LOOOOOOWWW!!

Ok, ive been writing this for a while but didnt post it if thats why your wondering why i am posting saying that ive done updates, well, today is christmas (well for the next hour and 25 mins it is), but i had a little look around the house yesterday and checked to see about the ground clearance, with erm.... shocking results, it is only 1/4 of a cm of the floor at the back and about 3mm of the ground at the front, so it bottoms out on quite alot, especially going though doorways.... heres the pics of it when it bottomed out :D

I love low cars, (used to be in to cars and modding quiet a bit), anyway the model looks very nice mate, is it motorised? if it is not, do it. The only bit I might of changed is putting a spacer behind the fan on the engine so the rod does not stick out the front, a tiny thing but a real life one would not have a rod sticking out the front of the fan.

Keep up the good work

HI everyone, i have been away for a while, BUT the building has continued! Alot more pictures to be added soon!, i have hardened the suspension and will be hopefully adding some speakers to the car soon so that it will be more realistic. Handbrake is in the works too. Here is a list of what is to come:

Handbrake

Door Speakers

Boot / Trunk Speakers

Subwoofer

Improved Chassis

Working Engine

Working exhaust flow

I will be motorising it soon, but first i will be improving the engine so that it actually turns on and a foot pedal controls the rev's, it is a big job but im sure ill be able to do it!

Any problem with the gearbox?

My 1st one yes!, i was lucky enough to have 2 8448 sets, so i put a new one in when my last one broke! I motorised it and it managed to chew threw the gears.

I am about to upload some newer photos of it!
