Guss Posted February 4, 2009 Very nice ship Slyowl, I love how you used the big brown pieces to make a "lightning captor" , and the rock part of the boat, the junction with the hull is awesome , looks like a rock has grown on the boat! ^^ how does the inclined part of the "cage" stands ? it's just "put" on it ? I mean in this picture : the black inclined part with 1x1 slopes on top must fall everytime you move it , doesn't it ?
SlyOwl Posted February 4, 2009 Thanks Guss ^^ how does the inclined part of the "cage" stands ? it's just "put" on it ? I mean in this picture :the black inclined part with 1x1 slopes on top must fall everytime you move it , doesn't it ? Yup, they're just balanced, although there's a fair amount of friction, so it can withstand light knocks. I did experiment with an elastic band around the whole ship, and over the rib, and it held the black parts in well, but I don't have enough bands
Huntleyfx Posted February 4, 2009 An excellent work, but how exactly does a rock float? Is it Cavorite?
