I doubt it. Last year a lot of people I know didn't get the Mistika 'till September. (As if anyone wanted them in the first place :p.) Though the Mahri did come early for me in '07 . . .

The mistika were kinda cool, too... Kirka and Onua and the other two Makuta that really should have just been monsters. Tahu and Gali were just terrible.

I prefer it when they come out at the official release date, and not 2 months early. That way we get the sets and get their character/power descriptions at the same time, as opposed to inventing the character personality and finding out your wrong. Stronius might be anuptaphobic for all we know.

I HATE when some moron tries to hack somebody. Almost nobody nowadays can do it properly, mostly these idiots just lure another idiots on fake sites that are stealing their passwords, and after that they can't do nothing better than send these pics!

Where's the sense of humor? Proper dark humor? Have they divided it by zero?

But usually we have set descriptions floating around at that time. At least that was with Mistika, I think.

Really, the only thing I want to know about the MiB is if they're posting good porn (postyourgirls!), boring porn (99% of the internet), awesome weird guro porn (Death Panda, etc etc) or (initially) shocking stuff like Goatse, Tubgirl, Lemon Party.

Because if their talk of staff looking into PMs is JUST based on them looking inside PMs they've sent to people after clearly sending porn and stuff... well that's just stupid. What upper staffer wouldn't read it?

Pretty sure they mean the whole changing account password thing that the staff apparently have to do to view PMs(and possibly to delete them, which may be why they take the board down every time a new PM gets sent around.)

Though I'd think the staff have a better PM deletion method than that.

Although I must say I don't have any particular fondness for the whole "veil of secrecy" thing the staff like to hide their actions behind.

Jinzo, you know how the IP Board work by being an admin here - can't the BZP admins just delete all PMs sent by a member at the click of a button? IP is an advanced board, so I don't believe that they'd need to actually read personal information to censor something.

Honestly? Never really looked into it.

And if I went running training exercises, I'd likely wind up deleting every PM on the site.

But in BZ's case... of COURSE they need to be reading these PMs! Every one that's sent, actually.

99.9% of them might just be the form "attack" sent to everyone, while that .1% might be them saying, "Lol, it's going good, buddy!".

Well, that's almost any site really.

Then again, on a lot of sites I've modded on, there've often been rare points of all-encompassing drama spilling out everywhere, at which point stupid Jinzo here suggests opening the staff forms for view to the masses.

A staffer is just a member, not a freakin' god, not an upper class citizen.

Just a person.

I think so, so, so many wide-scale fights would have ended quickly if the staff (on any site, no specific one) was open... more like people standing in a room with all the other members instead of acting like a government body.

Think about it... nothing going on evil, nothing to hide, yes?

And again, not being specific to any person or any specific site, but some mods just let their position go ALL the megabluck to their head.

If that ever happens to me, I ORDER you all to kill me.
