How can I insert elements into clips?

I've been trying to insert a trapdoor into a trapdoor frame. But the move tool won't allow me to place it in...

Which program are you using? Which part IDs are you trying to connect?

In LDD I am able to connect the trapdoor parts 30041 and 30042.

30041 and 30042 in white on LDD 4.3.10. Normal version.

 

Wait, I just tried it and it works now! Thanks for your support. There might have been another part obstructing it when I tried the first time

Note: Unless it’s a typo, you should really upgrade to 4.3.11.

BUT NOT the 4.3.12 for Windows on the official website!
