2015 pneumatic switch vs the old style one

Hi, 

I was working on making some auto valves for pneumatics today using this creation...

I have the 2015 pneumatic switches and they do not work with this design because of how stiff they are.  

Are my switches stiffer because I do not use them often OR are they just stiffer than the old ones from factory?

It is a bit of both. The more you use them, the more the stiffness goes away. However, having both kinds of switches, the new 2015 variant is quite a lot stiffer.
