Mbrick Posted April 26, 2019 Hello, I have a problem. When I try to open an .lxf project on Lego Digital Designer, an error message appears: "Unabel to load file - Parsing of the file was aborted due to an error in the file" Could you please help me? Thank you :)
Calabar Posted April 26, 2019 Probably the file is corrupted. Is it 0 byte? Upload it here, so we can see it.
Mbrick Posted April 26, 2019 Sorry for my inability, how can I upload it? I'm trying but I can't
Calabar Posted April 26, 2019 You should use an extarnal file hosting/cloud serive. In this caso you can use a LEGO related one such as brickshelf or bricksafe, that are reliable and allow to host both images and lxf files and share that with hotlink. technicmad Posted April 26, 2019 Creator of Bricksafe here... I have fixed the bug you were triggering with your uploaded LXF file. It is not a valid zip file (which was triggering the bug), other than that I can't tell you much about it.
Mbrick Posted April 26, 2019 Thank you very much technicmad!! Now it is available, I hope that Calabar is able to fix the LDD problem now :)
jamesster Posted April 26, 2019 The file is cut off part way through. Sorry, as far as I know there's not really anything that can be done.
Calabar Posted April 26, 2019 Unfortunately the file is corrupted. I tried a manual procedure using an hex editor and I was able to recover some data, but I don't know if the result is adequate. Please download the file from here and check it.

Calabar Posted April 28, 2019 Thanks for sharing. It seems a pretty diorama, but at the moment I can't see it in LDD as I'm struggling with a new PC and I've my machines partially disassembled and with an unsettled operating system.
