Annie doesn’t do much this round. The raider avoids her and damage next round. Warlen enchants his staff… again. Avalanche, though, causes some real damage. He kills four enemies at once and severely wounds the rest. Unfortunately, he misses his next attack. Traci falls into the same trap as Annie while both Jackson and Luke take damage. Rex loads up his cannon with a bomb and fires it onto the opposing ship, gravely wounding everyone.

Avalanche tosses one of Warlen’s bombs, killing Luthan and one of his female party members. As he tosses the bomb, he reaches out and steals even more gold from the enemy on board their own ship. Annie, perhaps seeing nobody else was going to help Calamity, takes it upon herself and brings the mage back to life. Warlen, out of nowhere, unleashes a final strike that kills every single last enemy. The Tridentians stand around in awe. Avalanche shoulders his weapons and lets go of the ballista's trigger, satisfied at the comfortable victory. Eyeing the loot, he remarks, "Count me out of everything but the Skadi bomb, Neutraliser and Nostrum maybe - I'd be happy with any of them. I stole a good deal of gold this time, so that can be most of my loot." He hands Warlen back his bones and Frostbite Capsule.

"Heroes," he spits, some blood coming along with it. "I hold no respect for your organization, but I'm not a fool to know when I've been beaten."

Avalanche rests his paw on his halberd's blade, "Good. I don't like fools, they die far too quickly. I'm sure a... pragmatic fellow such as you would be most obliging in sharing a few... erm, details about you and your friends' involvement in this area?"

"I've been the commanding the troops harassing Tridentia. You just wiped out my men. No doubt the Dens will hire and send more. I'm betting it's going to be a small army; the wizard is rich. As for plans, I have no idea. Now can I have that potion?"

"I know where the Dens are." Annienal replies, looking somewhat confused. "Last I saw them they were in Carthago, but I'm not entirely sure if they're still there. As to why they want the town, I don't know." Annienal tosses the potion to the Luthan.

The ships get underway and head back to port. Once there, all of the Heroes, Tridentian soldiers and their captive return to the town square. Before going, Traci brings some rope to tie Luthan's hands.

"I agree, Avalanche." He motions to Traci, Jackson and Captain Grayson. "Go put him in a cell until we can get him a trial." After the four of them walk off, William turns back to the Heroes. "We'll give him a fair trial, no worries. If he's smart, he'll give up some information. At worst he'll be executed, and I'm sure many of the villagers would like that. If he's lucky, he'll be exiled. There's a lot to prepare for on our end now."
