It doesn't look like there is one in Alaska : https://lan.lego.com/lugs It might be an opportunity to start one.
TF Twitch Posted November 13, 2015 It would seem as though Postron and myself would be the first two members. Hooray! Now, how does one go about starting a LUG? I mean, do I need to design a website and t-shirts? Because I am horrible at both. A coffee mug, on the other hand, is a different story.

Creating a LUG is not much different than creating any kind of social recreation club. You need to get a group of interested people together. You'll have to market the idea to drum up interest and membership. Decide on how to structure the club. You can have formal bylaws/rules on how the club is run or you run it informally. Who is going to do what in the club? Does the club need money to run? Do you want to have membership fees and./or other ways to raise money. Where to hold meetings? Physical location or virtual meetings. What kind of activities and events you want to do or get involved in? If you want your LUG to be recognized by LEGO then your LUG will have to meet some requirements: https://lan.lego.com/faq An online presence like website, Facebook, or blog can help communicate with your members or provide information to potential new members. LUG T-shirt or clothing is optional. But it does look nice when you all have the same LUG shirts at events or shows.
Legogal Posted November 22, 2015 Sounds like fun! Where are you moving to in Alaska? And when? Where to you live now? I am moving to Alaska soon and my intrawebz searches have yielded no success in finding a LUG there. Does anyone know if an Alaskan LUG exists? I lived in Fairbanks and Anchorage for almost 12 years, but was not into LEGO at the time. With the long dark winters, LEGO should be a huge hit, and Alaskans are always looking for a reason to socialize in the winter. The tips above should get you started and help you make lots of friends...quickly! There is a BL dealer or two in Alaska as I have bought from there before. Search for Alaska dealers at bricklink.com. If you move is paid for, buy a lot of LEGO while still in the Lower 48 if you have access to big box stores and their sales. Target has two stores in Anchorage and one in Wasilla (not that far from Anchorage). Fred Meyer is in Fairbanks and Palmer as well as Anchorage. Those are your best bets for LEGO in local stores. Again let your employer pay to move as much LEGO as you can afford and can store because sales are easier to find in the Lower 48. Starting an Alaska LUG sounds like a wonderful plan! Good luck and do ask for help as the folks on here and brickset.com will be glad to provide more details.
