Regenerate builder Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) Greetings everyone! Like many of you I am fond of the Wolfpack Renegade faction from around 1992. I have decided to remake the original tower (6075) in a larger, more textured and detailed way. I have attempted to maintain the original tower's general shape and color scheme. I think of the Wolfpack clan as inhabiting an abandoned, old, castle/tower and have designed my MOC with that in mind. More pictures on my Flickr Edited May 4, 2015 by Regenerate builder Quote
Zerobricks Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Wow, talk about textured! So many details and colors. Good work. Is there a hidden cave too? Quote
richchie Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 wolfpack was always one of my favourite from old castle (together with forestmen). good job, maybe it inspire me to build something similar for my wolfpack wariors Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Excellent build! The tower and landscaping are so well textured I could look at this for hours. I like the absence of a base with minifigs and accessories just sitting there. Very good presentation as well. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Great to see the wolfpack back in action. And what a wonderful tower they have got. A fine build indeed, also with respect to water and waterfall! Quote
kabel Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 the wolfpack - best caslte faction ever, so I always enjoy a buid that's involving these guys. Anyway, awesome tower - I can still make out the original but it's definetely a very creative "mod". Nice job! Quote
Wout Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 This looks fantastic. Well done! I like the little windows in the back tower also very much. And I spotted the good old ghost. Quote
Jreacher Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Love it!, the textures are great, the water is awesome and the rocks are very well done. I love wolf pack, sadly I only have two wolf pack mercs..... one came with Black knights castle and the other i forget.... Quote
WhiteFang Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 It is great to see such an awesome well built tower dedicated to the Wolf Pack. It was my favourite classic baddie faction and this is way much fortified than their earlier dens. Quote
Thomas_w Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 This is an amazing bit of work, I can really tell that is is based on the old Wolfpack castle. Perhaps next you can make an update of the smugglers cart (keeping the blue colour scheme!) to go with it? I am surprised by the number of people who recall the Wolfpack and also say it was their favourite theme. I always wanted to have the castle when I was little, and after I discovered Bricklink my first purchase were loads of those cool figs. If I was to have one single bugbear about this creation, it is that the hoods worn by your 3 "main" characters aren't the brilliant peasant cowls that the original guys have. It doesn't take away from the fantastic creation you have built though . Quote
LegoFanfromPR Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Amazing job on the textures. Beautifully detailed Quote
Regenerate builder Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Hey folks, thank you very much for the feedback and responses. I really appreciate it! Wow, talk about textured! So many details and colors. Good work. Is there a hidden cave too? There is no hidden cave. I usually don't incorporate interiors as I don't have kids yet and dont play with the sets myself. This looks fantastic. Well done! I like the little windows in the back tower also very much. And I spotted the good old ghost. Good job spotting the ghost! I actually put him there for some other pictures that I did not post here and didn't even realize at first that he could be seen in these pictures. I like the original cowls a lot as well but they don't look right on a lot of minifigures in my opinion. I did leave the cowls on three of the minifigs. Quote
Balbo Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Wow, that's amazing  I love the rockwork and the colour scheme. Moreover I like how you made the wall. Quote
J031 Ty3r Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 looks great but a little bit messy but still it looks good especially the tree and the rocks Quote
