[TC5] Wheeled Excavator

Recommended Posts

We almost have the winner?

Haha, I wish  Thanks!

You know what they say: It ain't over, till the fat lady sings! And this machine is singing a victorious anthem. Well done man, so much function, and looks too, from otherwise not so interesting set. Congratulations!

Thanks man! I have always wanted to build a wheeled excavator, and I thought, why not to make it for the challenge! It turned out a lot better then I expected :classic:

You used the inventory at its best !

So many fonctions with such a basic inventory... It is a very impressive model, nicely built, with great play ability

Bravo !

Thanks!

I see that a lot of contenders for the challenge are making their models to look as good as there can be and maybe sacrificing even some functions for the looks. For me Technic has always meant functionality and that's why I tried to make everything to work just like the real deal :classic:

Pack it up boys & girls, we have a winner.

Thanks! I hope so! Volvo would be a nice part donor

There is a lot of good models out there already, and I think even better models will be posted closer to the end of the submission date :classic:

First a very warm welcome here at EB TGBDZ and what a entry you made.

This one had to be the A-Model and not the C.

Keep up the good work   .

Thanks!

I don't know If I will post a lot of stuff here, I'm mainly based on Flickr, but maybe Technic creations I will start to post here :classic:

Not only on mobile devices. I can't see them on any device.

You might want to look into that.

Put it on Rebrickable, I'm sure there are lots of people that would love to build it :classic: I'm one of them!

It's really good to see technic builder from Baltic LUG. Greetings from Estonia! The excavator is really cool with those nice functions!

I'm not too fond of the original set, but WOW.....I love your C-model :wub:

I personally think 8071 gets a bad rap!...for the part count its functions are pretty decent and the use of primary white colour is effectve.

Not sure why this set is hated?....but i suspect its the colour, one thing i will say isthe set is rather small for the piece count.

Not too fond doesn't mean hated. But you are right. I am a bit negative about it. Maybe I should give it a chance. The set does have a great C-Model

That's incredible!

I had never considered buying that set until now. The truck looked incomplete and the bucket mechanism looked flimsy.

Now, I must have that set, to build your C model excavator. VERY well done! Thanks for doing what you did there!
