I can guess already what some are thinking ... "Oh no, he's back with another 'lounge' type discussion" ... fair enough.

So, what parts can you think of, that were released in one single color only?

Here are 2, to get started:

6628 - only available in black

2736 - only available in gray

Edit: I take that back. Both parts were actually released in both gray/black, though colors above are most common.

PS: This should be fairly easy to do with the 'rebrickable' database made available to us sometime back ... but that is not the point.

There are plenty of those, mostly LBG. 92908, 92910, 61903, 64179, 64178, etc., etc..

lol .... Looks like I need to 'think up' another interesting thread ... hmmm

If I am not mistaken we had a thread like this, not so long a ago. We even spoke about Nathan (Rebrickable) being able to generate a report. Or was that one about unique parts in general, not in a single color?

Thank You ... O Noble Sire.

Yes, the old thread was about unique parts. I was actually going through my sorted parts yesterday and noticed I had only one color of each of the parts in my original post ... Hence the motivation.

How about parts that used to be in multiple colors, but now only produced in one color - such as the despised blue 43093.gif, which was also available as white (2006 stopped production) and the much nicer black (only made in 2002, according to BrinkLink). 2780.gif Seems to have only ever been made in black.

This part is made in light grey too, without friction ridges. But with friction it's only been made in black, as far as I know.
