Zerobricks Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I love the new double joiner parts with axles (dkgray) and the new worm gear (also dkgray)....And panels and wheels... So many new parts....and suspension parts...and its only H1? I think this year will be great for new parts....never saw so many new ones at once? Quote
Jim Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 -nevermind- The plane does look ugly without stickers Quote
Conchas Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 If you prefer to see it with the stickers, here you have one... http://www.technicbr...argo-plane.html Can't remember how to embed YT videos, if still possible. Thanks Jim! Quote
Jim Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 If you prefer to see it with the stickers, here you have one... http://www.technicbr...argo-plane.html Can't remember how to embed YT videos, if still possible. With the [ m e d i a] tag. Nice review Conchas!! Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) It is official: I'm in love with the 42025! Even without stickers it looks great! Can't wait to get my hands on it. (But it definately has more "face" with all of those stickers!) Thanks to TB's and TechLug.fr's for all the reviews! Edited December 1, 2013 by JunkstyleGio Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) It is a shame that lego did not use a clutch gear before going to small LA which lifts the cockpit. I wounder if the real plane cockpits shake up and down like what was shown in the video? Edited December 1, 2013 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
aol000xw Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Oh, the plane at last! Well, that set will be mine for sure. 42024 on the other hand... the cabin is very ugly. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 No working rudder? LEGO came sooo close to creating the most accurate plane they have ever produced, and they leave out the rudder? I don't get it. It would have been easy to add too. That's a bit disappointing. On the other hand, I wasn't expecting working flaps, and I like that they actually extend out and down, instead of just down. I'm really liking all the white parts, and they will come in handy for a future moc of mine. The new tire size works well with the plane, and should be a nice for future aviation mocs as well. Overall, a really great set, and probably the only 1H set I will be buying. Quote
Conchas Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This is not the new tire size in the Cargo Plane. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This is not the new tire size in the Cargo Plane. You are correct, they aren't 100% new, and I suppose I should have said "rare" or "fairly new". The tires came out in earlier 2013 sets, and up till now, have only been on the 6022 City Cargo Terminal set (front wheels on the forklift) and 10663 Creative Chest. Now we have them on this plane and the dump truck too. I like these tires, and it's nice to see them in more sets. BTW, thanks for the great review! Quote
Conchas Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Well... I find the Cargo Plane tires in all these sets. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=58090&in=S They're 30.4x14, hence they were available in several older sets too. And thanks for the praise! :) Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Oh, you're right. I've got my tires confused. I thought I saw some fairly new tires while visiting a friend's bricklink store, and I thought these were them. Now I'm all confused and really curious what tires I saw. I stand corrected, and thanks for the clarification. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. Back to the regularly scheduled program. Quote
dr_spock Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Thanks for the reviews. The plane looks like a good source for white parts. Beaucoup de stickers. Quote

jantjeuh Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 The plane does look ugly without stickers Well last time I got flamed for daring to say an official model (42008) was butt-ugly, so I decided to keep my opinion on the cargo plane without stickers to myself ;-) Unfortunately, I never apply stickers myself, so I'm a bit disappointed. Hehe, I read your comment in my mail and I tend to agree. I have changed my sticker philosophy this year and started applying them. Sets look way better and I figured....why not. If I need the part without stickers, I will order them on Bricklink. My second review is online as well! 42024 Container Truck Review Quote
