So according to BrickClicker the GWP for the 2024 modular will be available in February again.

Honestly, I’m not surprised about this. But, hey, as fall gets closer, the more I’m getting excited!

I wonder what that modular GWP could be. I won’t be surprised it’s another vehicle for modular.

Same. There aren't many six wide vehicles of that 30s-50s era, which is what I consider the modulars to be set in.

Yeah< i love seeing more vehicles showing in the modular city annually.

Corner Garage was the last Modular Building that included vehicle in its set Modular vehcile GWPs are the great idea!

I don't mind another vehicle.

But, what else could they possibly make as a GWP? A food cart? A small park?

Iwould be surrprised if a modular GWP turns out to be a florist’s cart, a hotdog cart, a lemonade stand learned by a kid.

Yea. I'm loving that they've been consistent in a GWP for modulars, it adds another touch to the modular without having to sacrifice pieces for side build that could've been Used to put more detail in the modular.

Although I agree, I just don’t like the fact that Moviing Truck has a sticker while Modular Buildings are sticker-free. It’s quite a shame.

Does anyone remember when the modulars typically leak? I know last year was October but I forget if the years prior were at the same time or earlier.

There have not been any leaks of modulars in recent years. Maybe the name or theme is known in October but definitely no pictures.

The release is end of November to mid December usually.

I’m always torn between ordering the new modular when it’s actually in stock, or waiting for the GWP.  I’ve only been successful with the teal ‘50s car, and missed out on the removals van & Taxi.  TBH, the taxi wasn’t a must have, but I would have liked the removals van.  The other GWPs I completely missed, as I live in Switzerland, and the sets were often cheaper in some of their online & department stores, so i didn’t know they were a thing.

I’d like to see a ‘50s police car, or perhaps mini petrol/oil tanker.  I know these would suit earlier modulars, but I think they were missing a trick there.  Vehicles aside, some sort of street vendor would be good, maybe a corner hotdog stand.

Now that you met ind a police car! I feel Police Station is incomplete without that car. Although Fire Brigade, Corner Garage and Downtown Diner are not GWPs, they hav thier own vehicles in these sets. Police Station lacks of a police car if there is an emergency call!

Lego, take that note, please.

I would love for them to make one similar to the police car in the 2017 Arkham Asylum.

Hoping the modular in January will be a Hospital.

I work in healthcare and I'd only want a proper one. There are privacy rules, so it should not have see-through walls, just like the City sets. I know those are for play function though.

With a standard 32x32 baseplate, will all of the hopsital fit in it? Basically, hopsital has so many rooms - ambulance garage, waiting room with receptionist’s desk, operational. Room, eating room, patients’ rooms (with batrooms), and (I don’t know how it will work if it has elevator while we remove sections of building?). And children’s ward. And a ward for pregant women.

i think a hopsital shoul have one 32x32 and one 16x32 baseplates, just like Assembly Square. So it would make sense it would be a 20th anniversary set,  IMO

I completely get what you’re saying regarding the size, but I doubt the 20th anniversary set would be dedicated to one single role.  Assembly square was 6 or so I think (Probably more, but I can’t think of them all, and I’m not able to check mine ATM.) We havent had a single ‘use’ modular since the cinema so I think TLG are moving away from that.  Perhaps we could have a 32x32 single straight build, with an A&E, and ambulance bay on the ground floor, surgery and ward on the first floor, and perhaps a split cafe with a rooftop terrace on the second.

I think you could be right that 20th anniveary set won’t be a hospital. It’s kinda impossible to squeeze different rooms into a 32x32-size hopsital building… probably losing space for alley to make more space for hopsital, I gues?

I will be okay with a clinic as a main building with another differnet business or residenc.

Who knows?

There was some confusion over on Discord, but only one Modular has been confirmed at this point.

Diamond? Is that a codename like Boutuique Hotel had a “Palm” codename since it does have a palm tree?

Source on “Diamond”?

Unless you misread “Discord”? Discord is a forum app where leak discussion is taking place. I am participating in the discussion, and then relaying information that I get back here.
