Here is the reply I received:

XXXXX, we're happy to have you as a LEGO® fan!

I'm really sorry but it's not possible for us to share information about the parts listed in the email. Thank you so much for your understanding.

We wish you and your fan community all the best and happy building!

We want to make sure we're doing a good job for you, so you’ll always find the link to a four-question survey in our emails. Please tell us how we did today:

Unfortunately, it looks like we have reached the end of the road with this request.

I honestly do not know whether Maria shared something she was not normally supposed to share and the case was then reviewed more carefully, or whether we simply pushed our luck too far with the second request. In any event, they are no longer willing to help with the remaining parts.

What I find difficult to understand is the inconsistency: the first time I was sent official images and very useful material, while now I am told that they cannot disclose any information about the newly listed elements. Either this kind of material can be shared or it cannot, but there is clearly no point in replying again and starting an argument with Customer Service.

My suggestion would be for one of you with a substantial number of LEGO Insiders points, as I had, to try again through the Danish website after some time has passed, in the hope of finding another “Maria” willing to help.

Unfortunately, I had already played my one good card.

Ah no, we we're so close! Thanks for trying anyway Blackplex!

Thanks Wadapan too for all your hard work and research putting together your site!

Hopefully we will be one day soon be able to identify those last few pieces and then we can work on putting together what we think the figures are meant to be!

That is very disappointing, what is the big secret? I don't understand why they can not identify Lego parts, after all they are the ones that made and sold them

I wonder what will the August selection for BAM look like.

Probably non-existent, as was the case in previous years. Next one is in September (3x), then October (7x) and November (3x).

Who knows? This year is little fraternity form the previosu year as we got 3x minifigure monthly and it’s nutty. But int hast case, it makes sense.

Sorry if this was already answered in the forum, but I can't find it.

Can someone give me all the parts id for the basketball player for the June 2026 wave? I could not find the head in my local LEGO store, so I didn't bring that one.

Did your original ticket get closed? If you got an email to that effect, I don't think they get further replies, and you have to resubmit a new Customer Service ticket.

But honestly it's been what, three days, especially over the weekend? I'd normally leave it at least two weeks before considering a customer service email like that to have been ignored. If they're busy it won't be a priority. Just have to hope that with a bit of patience they'll come through.

Do you have any Idea on how to finish the job? I see you maed some other updtates, do we only need 4 now? Are you willing to try to write the again from your account? I want to finish this job so badly my friend

Hehe, I went to the So Ouest (Paris) Store on Monday, and picked a similar parts selection, @Exetrius :

One part that caught my eye is the hammer : it has the same pattern as the CMF S17 Battle Dwarf, but is light bluish gray, and not pearl dark gray.

I think the Brick Yellow Cargo Pants in the above picture from this post in May of 2019 are the 6255037 / 49717: BRICK YELLOW MINI LOWER PART NO. 1655 from 2019 Q1 Figure 2 legs.  They would go with the Figure 5 Cargo jacket.

The Bricklink number is 970c00pb0536 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=970c00pb0536&C=2#T=C&C=2

I'm not going to take any further steps myself in the immediate future. I think you got lucky with your first point of contact. Perhaps in a few months time if I feel like it, I'll submit my own ticket.

To my knowledge, it's standard Customer Services policy not to reply to requests for these sorts of images, after a spate of attempts by community members to get info about cancelled sets/elements (which is always confidential).

The other avenue would be to do some detective work based on the names of the elements. For example, for the legs, here's what we know:

1651: 21151 The End Battle
1652: 71023 The Lego Movie 2 CMF
1653: 21315 Pop Up Book
1655: MISSING (Brick Yellow)
1656: previously-identified BAM-exclusive part
1657: MISSING (Dark Stone Grey)
1658: BAM version of 1189 from 71017 The LEGO Batman Movie CMF
1661: BAM version of 1351 from 71019 The LEGO Ninjago Movie CMF
1662 (bunch of Ninjago sets)
1663: 71023 The Lego Movie 2 CMF
1665: 71023 The Lego Movie 2 CMF
1667: 71023 The Lego Movie 2 CMF

So let's guess that it's parts from 71017, 71019, or 71023. 71017 has nothing in the right colours. 71019 has No. 1339 in Brick Yellow. 71023 has No. 1667 in Brick Yellow. None have any in Dark Stone Grey.

Bob's suggestion is from 71013, CMF Series 16. Could be! There's no Dark Stone Grey legs in that series either. But those photos unfortunately aren't hard evidence for anything, there's parts pictured from at least over a year's worth of waves; the oldest element I spotted was the black wig/beard from 2017 Q4.

Today in Assago; and you have to stick to the (headger + head + torso + legs + accessory) * 3 here too.

Some new hair, not sure about the black torso with dark red tie (serie 5 Graduate?). And lots of double color pants, not to mention those with stripes on the side.

Not sure about those white pants with belt: where do they come from? I haven't seen any new accessory, so I pickey 4 dragon bowls and 2 pizzas.

I've seen the Grey legs w/ red and yellow stripes (970c00pb0586) on a few posts from the 2019 time frame.  They are stone grey(now dark bluish grey)
They fit the missing legs from 2019 Q1 for Figure 6 6255074 / 49718: DARK STONE GREY MINI LOWER PART, NO. 1657

Hi Wadapan,

I’m continuing the research into the remaining unidentified BAM parts from the 2017–2020 period.

After going through the photographic inventory again, it now seems to me that only the following four entries are still missing from the catalogue:

  • 6016049 / 88584 — BLACK MINI LOWER PART 26/199 — Q3 2018
  • 6254591 / 88585 — BLACK MINI UPPER PART NO. 4597 — Q1 2019
  • 6255074 / 49718 — DARK STONE GREY MINI LOWER PART NO. 1657 — Q1 2019
  • 6255075 / 49719 — BRIGHT BLUE MINI LOWER PART NO. 1658 — Q1 2019

Regarding the first entry, 6016049 / 88584, I initially thought I might have found a completely new identification. However, after rereading your notes carefully, I realised that you had already interpreted the designation “26/199” as the relevant LEGO colour codes:

  • 26 = Black
  • 199 = Dark Stone Grey / Dark Bluish Gray

Your notes therefore already pointed towards a part consisting of black hips and dark bluish gray legs.

You had tentatively connected it with the printed legs 970c00pb0705, apparently on the basis of contemporary BAM sightings, while also noting that the white printing on the lower legs did not seem entirely consistent with the inventory description.

What I have now found is a repeated catalogue association involving the exact Element ID 6016049. BrickLink inventories and other independent parts databases associate 6016049 with:

970c85 — Black Hips and Dark Bluish Gray Legs

This is the plain, unprinted version.

Therefore, I would not describe this as a new discovery of the colour combination, since you had already reached that conclusion from the “26/199” designation. It may instead represent a stronger confirmation of your original interpretation and suggest that the correct match is the unprinted 970c85, rather than the printed 970c00pb0705.

The exact Element ID correspondence makes this a fairly strong candidate, although I would still like to establish whether the database mapping ultimately derives from an official LEGO inventory before treating it as absolutely definitive.

I am now concentrating on the remaining three Q1 2019 pieces:

  • 6254591 — Black Mini Upper Part No. 4597
  • 6255074 — Dark Stone Grey Mini Lower Part No. 1657
  • 6255075 — Bright Blue Mini Lower Part No. 1658

I have recovered and checked some contemporary photographs from BAM towers, including photographs taken at the Arese store in February 2019, but unfortunately none of those three pieces appears clearly in the images.

I am continuing to search through archived pages, old forum attachments, Brickshelf mirrors and photographs taken inside LEGO Stores during the correct period. I will post any further findings once there is enough evidence to distinguish a genuine identification from a merely plausible resemblance.

Good enough for me! That's not going to have come from nowhere. Will be added in the next update.

I want to like the new BAM figures, but with the Creator Haunted Mansion and new Icons Mayor Manor both available, the figures from those are (mostly) the same characters and feel far better versions of them too. It would have been nice to branch out into something different with BAM. But then, do we need another male vampire? Probably not, but the last one felt like a few years ago. A non-costumed Mummy might have been good. A swamp monster, zombie, dark wizard, or enchantress might all have been more interesting and provided some variety.

Wolf head might be good for a castle wolfpack figure though. And the torsos of the others might be good for castle and/or pirates too.

I'd like them a lot more if it wasn't for the raggedy clothes. The wolf costume could have made a great upgrade for Rowlf.

I think last year's wave was much stronger - but I'd also say last year's might have been one of the best Build a Minifig waves ever!

I'm excited to see the S23 Wolf costume head reused/recoloured. It's been 4 years, got to keep that mould in use.

There's no indication of a reddish brown tail, which would count as an accessory, but it has been previously available with Rocket Raccoon and Looney Tunes CMFs.

This BAM year have been a disappointment to me, very little of interest with the minifigures and no animal recolors

I really wish that wolf costume guy did not have pockets, let alone candies in his pockets. Reduces the usability of the torso.

Yeah the printing on that torso is awful

Or that the wolf mask has eyes without lashes to make it feminine. That piece could have been part of a cool carpet, or maybe a cool hood piece for fantasy figs, but because of the lashes it looks cartoony
