This could definitely work well – there are plenty of instruments that haven’t been made yet, not to mention a few that could do with being brought back (the bagpipes, Keytar, etc.).

There’s also the fact that Vidiyo went defunct rather suddenly, and there are several instruments that haven’t appeared since then, plus we know there are parts made for the unreleased sets that have never been used elsewhere.

My vote would be either hurdy-gurdy or serpentine since lute has already been done

There was that brachiosaur head leaked!

I think the Vidiyo characters overall were all fun!

This is an excellent idea. Allows for a unifying theme but can also be as varied as you like within that. Spaceman with a futuristic instrument, jester with an old timey something or other and so on. I'll see if I can think up a good full series.

Here ya go! I totaly like to see idfferent configures form different time periods with thier own musical infrequencys as theme would focus on music. :) Yes to all you suggest!

JAgreed with you on Vidiyo musical instrumented, bagpipes and Keytar! I don’t know if wacky-looking musical undetermined form Vidioy will appeal to general audience like ax and anchor guitars.  But I do like those Vidioy accessories.

Okay i will ask you a random quesiton. How likely we will see a minifigure with long arms or legs in CMF? Will it break “stardard” rules? Avatar theme has been discontinued and we ahvne’t seen any minifigure with long arms or legs in other themes since then. I really wish that we would get a carnival-themed character like a clown. Or a basketball player. Or a Hallowen trick or treater.  Or a mutant.

I have to say that I generally really like it when they play with the ‘format’ of minifigures. However there definitely seems to be some pullback on that in licensed themes (eg Disney). So CMFs might well be the best chance for something more unusual or complex

Yeah, in my option, i think it’s annoying dude there are no releases of new long arms or legs for other themes or CMF after the discontents Disney sets (Avatar and Toy Story). In fact, Toy Story sets are ocming up this year.  Woody’s long arms and legs look genetic rather than IP-locked only if Leog can recolored / print them. It’s jsut fun to see minifigures “evolve” when we ahve a new bird part form One Piece theme - i think that body could be useful for toddlers in CMF.

To be honest I'm not really a fan of the long arms and legs for characters unless they're actually unnaturally tall. Even for Woody originally they felt sort of unnecessary, since while he's taller than Buzz he's not that out of proportion compared to what any other cartoon human man would look like. So I could see them working for a CMF if they're some sort of cryptid or something, or maybe a character on stilts (though for that there's a case for making them longer extensions of the legs that can be removed like the fig from the Fairground Mixer set) but I don't know if they'd feel right for something like a basketball player who is tall but not unnaturally so.

Totally agree with this. Additionally to what you said, one of the main issues I have with the long legs is that the torso looks so out of proportion compared to it, I think it would look better if the legs would be something inbetween the standard legs and the long ones and there would be a torso that is a bit longer too.

Well, sure, long legs or arms might look “unnatural” but i don’t think it will stop Lego from producing those body parts for CMF in future as it’s always fun to see the evolution of minifigures ever since 1978 and CMF and City are perfect candidates for those body parts since they won’t be specific for licensed characters like Woody or Avatar ones. But my quesiton - will they break “stardard” rule for CMF, not about how they look naturally / unnaturally. This discusison is kidna drafted away so….

If they see the need to include them in CMF they will do so, there is absolutely no reason to think they couldn´t include them if they wanted to.

Yeah, we often see different minifigure body parts since CMF S1. So it will be very interesting to see long arms or legs show up in non-licensed CMF series, it might break a “strangled” but it woudl be a “milestone”.

I don’t know where to ask for help so I spillover if this is a wrong thread for me to ask.

But I was re-organizing my CMF collection. After subsiding, I found a plain 1x2 blue tile and it/s not trans. I was trying to reattach which minifigure that has that piece online and it’s not helpful. Do you know which minifigure that 1x2 tile belongs to?

EdIT: I was told that that ttile’s color seems to be black, not blue. To me, it looks dark blue. Black or blue, I willl reqeust your assurance, please.

Per Bricklink, the black 1x2 tile is used in the Train Kid. I didn't find a CMF mentioned for either the regular blue or dark blue of this part.

Could it have been a spare that came with Train Kid? They don't usually give us spares of 1 x 2 parts but it's not impossible.
