MaximB Posted June 5 Posted June 5 (edited) Unfortunately, it's a bit plain, and the photo doesn't convey the volume and curves. But here it is. Afoland Castle Game. "The small faction of Knights of the Order of the Crow is not going through the best days of its existence. But the ancient watchtowers still stand strong."  Photos from the construction process: Spoiler  Edited June 8 by MaximB Quote
Ben S Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I love the top of the tower, and the curves as well! Impressive tower! Quote
Plumber Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Visiting from technic theme so castles are usually just, meh, for me but:Â WOW, just wow, stunning in the clean 'simplicity' and the effect of the 'patchy' stonework. The brick bending is the icing on the cake. Quote

GeoBrick Posted June 8 Posted June 8 By the way, is it a six-sided tower, or is the back wall longer then the front wall? Quote

PossumPatrol Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Brilliant design using the internal bracing to keep the shape of the concave walls! Quote
Garmadon Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Yow, that's some crazy cool brickbending going on here! Super lovely shaping on the final result Quote
lowlead Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I rarely post in this forum but the 'front page' feature works! The concave wall curvature (and internal bracing) is a fantastic spin on an already innovative technique. What is most interesting to me is how the curves are achieved without the obvious goto 1x2 plate with round edges. Bravo! Feuer Zug Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Wicked tower. The shaping of the walls is mind bending. Great work! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 10 Posted June 10 At first glance, it looks like any other tower, but then you realize the walls are concave, and the whole thing seems like a miracle. It would be nice to see a photo from above to appreciate its incredible perimeter! Quote
