Ptchnk Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I've made several MOCs of service trucks based on the Goelette model and derivatives from Renault. Here is the forest fire truck with 4X4 drive. The truck is equipoed with a water tank on the back along with a water pump and a hose reel. The digital model: The IRL version with a few modifications (the pump for instance) There is still some adjustements to do due to a lack of red parts in stocks or the correct mudguards or wheels. Feuer Zug Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Solid forestry truck build. Looks like it's straight out of the 1950's with that cab. Quote
Daiman Posted May 18 Posted May 18 What a spectacular little truck, you've added all the right details and it somehow it looks like it sits well in any legoland city build. I dont mind your version in different colours also it looks used and realistic, all it needs is a provincial logo on the doors and it's forresting we gooooooooooo. Quote
Shiva Posted May 18 Posted May 18 That temporary mudguard is quite good as a footstep. Nice model. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Long ago I was a forest fire fighter in the western US, so I especially like what you have done. It very much reminds me of a Unimog I once saw, always thought it was the coolest fire fighting vehicle I ever saw, it actually had a flame thrower mounted on it for starting back fires. Really like what you have done here, one minor thing though. In all my time working forest fires I never saw a truck with a ladder on it, even though they are quite common for structure fire trucks.
