boformer Posted Tuesday at 10:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:31 PM Here is a custom modular I built a few years ago. I took some inspiration from 4954 Model Town house and older modular buildings. I also wanted to use part 28327 Door, Frame 4 x 4 x 6 Corner, which came with the 31105 Creator Toy Store. I'm really happy with the ground floor window front and the balcony above. The roof windows can also be opened up to access the interior. The idea to make this a library came from a Reddit user. So far there are no interiors, but I think having some high bookshelves with ladders could work really well. Sadly the 4954 from my childhood has been sitting too close to a window, therefore you will see some yellowed pieces Quote
Feuer Zug Posted Wednesday at 12:31 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:31 PM Good start for the library. The big opening window is a nice touch. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted Wednesday at 05:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:33 PM Beautiful architecture, I like the main facade and the large roof window! Quote
boformer Posted Wednesday at 08:50 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 08:50 PM (edited) Thanks! I copied the roof window from 4996 Beach House. Edited Wednesday at 08:50 PM by boformer Quote
Jack Sassy Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Ah, a lovely design. Reminds me of some of those architectural builds done back in the day by Deborah Higdon. Would be interesting to see how you incorporate the interior details. Either way, it will have more books than the 2020's Bookshop. Good job! Quote
