Obviously.  I mean, I gently don’t’ care about sets themselves (including minifigures). I actually enjoy collecting creatures from every theme (Harry Potter, City, Jurassic World, etc). 

I do wonder what kind of new dinosaurs we would get this year so I will hunt them down in secondary market. :)  i won’t’ be surprised to see another T-Rex and any raptors as they are “popular”. If no new species this year, it will save my money. Just like the worst wave in 2021.

Unless we have dinos in novel inspired color schemes, I don't think we've seen those in lego before

I'm going to guess that 77978 is based off of the lost world, and 77982 is based off of JP3. Can't tell what the mosasaurus set is based off of, only mosasaurus boat scene i can remember is in rebirth, unless it's based off of camp creataceous.

I'm going to guess this is a 4+ set, but at that price point it would be cool if it was Malcolm's car from the finale of The Lost World, where he and Harding are zipping around San Diego in a red convertible with a baby T-rex in the car.

I feel like both of these sets could be based on JP3. The Spinosaurus escape could feature the plane scene, and the other is the boat from the end of the film. The reason why it has a mosasaurs might be because they didn't wan't to repeat the dinos, so they just included the one that fits the most with the build. 

Other then that I could see 3 more things 77983 could be:

1. The boat scene from Rebirth, but this time the boat is a lot bigger and better. With it we might get Nina, who was the only character missing in the sets.

2.  The boat from Camp Cretaceous.

3.  It's based on Dominion, as there was one scene of the Mosasaurs attacking a boat.

The specification of a Young T.Rex in a set implies we're getting a new body type for a juvenile rex that could be used later down the line for mid sized therapods

Thanks for the info! Hmmm Spinosaurus and Mosasaurus coming back, huh? And I’m very interested to see Young T-Rex Transporation when it says “young”. Could it include a young version of T-Rex at last?

I can´t see them placing the T-Rex-Head on the Raptor body, they look just too different, and don´t think there is anything else they could use, so would expect a new mould for it.

I wonder if a young T-Rex will get a new mold. If so, as I mentioned we don’t know how big it would be, I kinda hope it would be possible. If it’s as small as raptor, I am fine with it.

Hey everyone, just curious if anyone has any info or direction for me, I was just scrolling through instagram posts for the new sets and in the comments section, someone mentioned that there was an Alan Grant face print on a head that was leaked about a week or 2 ago, but it wasnt his usual face, which could bode well for these being JP3 sets, if anyone has any idea if this is true that'd be awesome and i'd greatly appreciate it, thank you! I tried looking everywhere but couldn't find anything lol

Hey everyone, I have a prediction for these sets, mainly the May release 18+ set, along with the GWP connected to that specific one, and also possibly the Spinosaurus escape set.

So, because we now have the set names of the extra 4 normal sets and they seem to have at least 2 hopefully JP3 themed, maybe that May release 18+ set might be another awesome Diorama set of the JP3 Spinosaurus boat attack scene, and the GWP could be a chunk of Ellie Satlers(/Degler lol) house with her and her kid, that way would be an awesome way to get the JP3 version of Ellie Satler as those two scenes go hand in hand through the sattelite phone! 

Then as we get that build as a diorama, it would leave the "Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape" to be what I would bet to be the plane, which could be cool if it could have parts that break off to simulate the crash, maybe a tree to sit on etc. Originally I thought "Spinosaurus Escape" was the dinosaur breaking out, but maybe it actually means like escape from the Spinosaurus, aka plane crash lol

Those sets could give us all the Characters if Lego does it right, or well, at all🤣 But I would love if that was the case, what do you guys think?

First I would say that it can't be the May 18+ set, as that one is said to be $200, that just feels like too much of a budget for a set like this. Other then that I really don't see them doing an 18+ set based on the boat scene. It simply doesn't feel too iconic or memorable to me. If they did a diorama set from JP3 it would have most likely been the plane crash, or the Spinosaurs vs T-rex fight(as these scenes are what most people remember from the film). Also we are said to be getting another boat in the same wave, and that just feels like too much Jurassic boat sets on the market, especially when you add the one from Rebirth. 

But with all that being said this is still a really nice and thought out set idea you made, and also thanks to it I got my own idea on what one of the 18+ sets might be. I see it being a diorama with the Spino and the plane on the tree. With that the Spinosaurs escape set could be based on the scene where Eric Kirby is reunited with his parents. The build could be a part of the large fence and the small building they escape to.

When I saw Baby Pterandoon set name, it quickly reminds me of ones from JP3 that attacked the boy (Trevor?) in the birdcage.  Yet other two sets don’t scream “JP3”, but just mix of different sets from different movies. It’s John’s weird to see Mosasaurus boat set again so I ignore it.  I’m really curious to see what 18+ set would be other than Dinosaur Fossil set.

True actually, I believe that JP T.Rex Breakout 18+ set was only 1200ish pieces, 77985 fits the bill better for a dirorama based on if its the same sorta size as the last one. Just makes me wonder what the hell the GWP could be haha, do they usually have something in common with the main set they are bought with?

Like I saw the Stranger Things set, which makes sense to have their GWP be a nice chunk of the Radio station and giving the last two necessary characters, I thought that was an awesome idea.

That would still be really cool, honestly I'd be happy with either lol. The Spinosaurus set would be just a little larger than the T.rex raft set from last years Rebirth wave IIRC, so either we would only get a plane, which might be downsized a tad, or a nice section of the fence and maybe the aviary entrance which would be amazing as well. Man I cant wait to see these!😁

Well technically Trevor Morgan in real life🤣 in the movie his name is Eric Kirby, and yeah, hopefully it is the Baby Pteranodons from JP3 but I wouldnt be surprised if they based it on the JW varients. I'm all happy for these new waves to be a mix match from the existing franchise, they have so much potential! 

A lot of people are speculating that it could be a large scale Ford Explorer, which might be cool but personally not the biggest fan of this idea, I would much much rather more Diorama sets. Spinosaurus Fossil would be cool as well! 

Fingers crossed this Mosasaurus is moulded! 🤞 Or at least partially, as supposedly the title doesnt specify being brick-built like last years..😄

I think I found the "leak" that the commenter was talking about, its a picture from instagram leaker984 asking if people can guess who the head, torso and legs comes from, and the head is Alan Grant  but from the T-rex Skeleton set, so unfortunately not a new print

Given the naming scheme follows Dolores, Bumpy and Little Eatie, most likely itll be a brick built baby and not based off JP3

100% someone suggested if it is JP3 if hopefully we could get JP3 Raptors, but even if we got Compies that'd be awesome!

Can I say specifics? I think it’s just my unpopular opinion here but I think we have seen so many new rarity’s since 2022. I prefer to get new molded species that we never got before. I’m very looking forward to see a “young” T-Rex or new Pteranodn baby mold as I welcome new baby dino molds. 

And JP3 raptors had “quill” feathers, didn’t they? While we have seen raptors in other movies, I am not sure if we will see that JP3 raptor mold. I’m fine with reusing existing raptor mold pieces

Male JP3 Raptors had quills, the females without, but I believe the Rebirth Raptors (the Grey with Blue and Orange highlights aka the one we got) also had quills, not that we got to see much of them anyways🤣
