I was wondering if anyone can confirm whether the fender panel used in the rear bumper is the 13L or 15L variant

Very disapointed they had to print that fender part. Hopefully it will be used non printed in a future set.

This 911 demonstrates to me how much Lego prices have risen. I bought 42096 (911 RSR) & 42125 (488 GTE) for less than £100 each when they were still current models.

I made mount and some LEDs for the trans-clear headlight pieces:

digital file here

You also may want to download the headlight part itself from here

I used pearl light gray because its a little bit reflective, not as much as I would like but I needed mounting points for the LEDs as close to the oval part as possible but also connection points to mount the whole unit to the bodywork (i.e the technic holes)

It can be customized a lot, like using 1x1 technic beams in metallic silver, of brick round 1x1x2 in chrome silver.

If anyone is building this set, pay close attention to the suspensions. Some of the suspension pivots use friction pins; on the front axle, you might not even notice the issue until it's too late.

I personally couldn't stand the squeaky sound and the lack of rebound—especially in the front—so I’ve disassembled it. I'm currently reassembling the model with a few 'bugfixes.' I'll share the results once I’ve finished the rebuild.
