gyenesvi Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Looks really nice all around! Where is the buggy motor located? In the middle? Is the gearbox manual or RC? What kind of tires are those? And what size? They look really nice and thin. Do you have a link maybe? Which lego rims do they fit onto? Or are those RC rims? Not really visible on the images.. Quote
Krxlion Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Top-notch work, very detailed build. I love the mix of techic/system bricks (although I am too lazy to mix those often :D). The hidden compartment and battery inside is icing on a cake for me. One question, why is there round 2x2 bricks stacked in the axle to the rear? Is this to serve some purpose, or is it purely esthetical? Quote

The details on the rear axle are just a fake detailing of the braking system. 2 hours ago, gyenesvi said: Where is the buggy motor located? In the middle? Is the gearbox manual or RC? Thanks! The motor is located between the v8 and the interior, where you can see a gray gear with a metal cardan shaft attached. The discs are 3d printed. R0Sch Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Awesome looking truck! If only LEGO made proper rims for their off-road vehicles instead of re-using the same old boring racing rims... I think I'll start printing my own rims too. Quote
I_really_want_that_gearbox Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Those tires look pretty heavy duty. Quote
1gor Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Whenever I see ZIL inspired MOC, I think about this one. What I'm mostly impressed are cab lines that I find very good accomplished. Quote

BrickWild Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I'm very curious to see how the 5th Wheel mechanism is designed! Quote
_TLG_ Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Awesome! I remember these from my childhood, and the colors are exactly the same as they used to be :) Quote
