Elephant Knight Posted August 12 Posted August 12 A little more than a month to get my project finished and refined. Hopefully I can stay focused on it. So many projects, so little time. Eknight Quote

Ammiraglio_Artic Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Thanks to include my Port Fenzance, I hope you like it! Quote
Elephant Knight Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Lots of Pirate options this time, and quite a few good ones. Not a lot of actual ships, which is good for me, I guess. Eknight Quote

Thank ye for sharing - especially this interesting background information! 17 hours ago, Ammiraglio_Artic said: Thanks to include my Port Fenzance, I hope you like it! Aye! Indeed it is a worthy stronghold for the tan coats! 9 hours ago, Elephant Knight said: Lots of Pirate options this time, and quite a few good ones. Eknight There are quite a number of small medieval ships though. And one or two of them are truly unique qua design. Quote
HanSime Posted October 9 Posted October 9 (edited) Going to be tough competing with all the castle sets with new factions. Realistically I fear the big pirate sets are out by default in that regards. Shame they don’t do these contests by theme. Edited October 9 by HanSime Quote

But do we really need another big pirate set so soon? Thieves of Tortuga and Privateer Frigate Fortuna maxed out the 4,000 part limit. And not everyone is loaded with gold and can afford sets of that size, so a medium-size pirate design would better suit those with smaller treasure holds. Quote

And not everyone is loaded with gold and can afford sets of that size, so a medium-size pirate design would better suit those with smaller treasure holds. That was a big factor in my design. I told myself I wanted to keep my part count below 2000, and I fully succeeded in that. Eknight Quote
