Actionfigure Posted August 5 Posted August 5 (edited) Hello, after a long time of construction I finally finished this sculpture. She has a total height of 165 cm and consists of more than 18000 bricks. And after an even longer time I finally managed to insert pictures! What about a simple hint how to insert pictures now! 1963maniac Posted August 5 Posted August 5 This is a great piece of art and engineering!!!!! WOW!!! This is not paint or sone or metal, it is plastic toys. Just as interesting to me is the pictures of how you built it. As for the pictures... you put them in a place like Bricksafe or Flicker, and them link to them here. Quote
Jack Sassy Posted August 5 Posted August 5 An impressive sculpture! A lot of skill has been put into this work of art. I appreciate the use tiles and slopes for detailing. Creating a realistic sculpture of a person in LEGO is certainly quite a challenge, especially because these are bricks, not clay, bronze or marble. Ye have managed to achieve realism very well. An astounding job! Quote
Driver Brandon Grumman Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Wow! That is amazing! Great job on capturing the details! Quote

Sorry, I have not documented the process... It was more intuitively than a real construction. A lot of trial and error! That´s how I added pictures before. Now there are some more steps necessary! 16 hours ago, Jack Sassy said: An impressive sculpture! A lot of skill has been put into this work of art. Lyichir Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Wow, really impressive! The expression on the face is subtle but instantly readable. And the shaping of the rest is superb—I especially love the details like the jeans stitching. This sort of thing would make an amazing display for the window of a fashion store or something. Quote
