dhc6twinotter Posted Saturday at 12:48 AM Posted Saturday at 12:48 AM Might be time for another car transporter set.  I wouldn’t complain about that, especially if it were a bit larger with a few more functions.   U.S. style car transporters typically carry 9-11 vehicles, depending on the size of the vehicles. That's quite an accurate comment... I'll admit to almost doing this: I don't have the pullback or recolored sets, or the GT40. For me, these are the most expensive sets that I can pick up at the typical 30% 'discount', without thinking about the cost. Obviously, 42223 is a notable exception to this.  Quote
Jockos Posted Saturday at 08:06 AM Posted Saturday at 08:06 AM I still have a feeling we'll get something in the (at least) 2000-3000 pcs territory this year (not counting the 1:8 supercar, F1 and possibly 1:5 motorbike). There would be a huge leap between the F1 cars and Sadair's Spear. Quote

So do European car transporters. Technic trucks tend to have shorter cargo sections than prototype. I agree a new transporter would be nice though. Quote

I'm noticing the green Bugatti in these posts, and I think somehow I missed that one's release! I'm a sucker for green, so that looks pretty sweet to me Quote
Timorzelorzworz Posted Saturday at 02:17 PM Posted Saturday at 02:17 PM Would be nice to order the "summer wave" list in this topics frontpage. F&F Eclipse and Charger are June Sets, as well Unimog and green Bugatti (4 June Sets) Sadair's Spear is scheduled for July. Other sets are August. Quote
Oh_Hi_Mao Posted Saturday at 03:03 PM Posted Saturday at 03:03 PM August wave used to be wave for large sets. Not this year Quote
Lyichir Posted Saturday at 06:25 PM Posted Saturday at 06:25 PM 21 hours ago, Jockos said: How interesting that most vehicle (not only Technic) sets are photographed from their left side... how does it have connection to right-handed people (who are also the majority of population)? This is an interesting observation but I think it has more to do with most languages using the Latin alphabet reading left to right. Think about it—the Lego logo and theme logo, set information, etc. is on the far left, and from there people are generally inclined to scan the boxart to the right. So in the case of vehicles, it makes sense to orient things so that people scan from the front of the vehicle (on the left), which is often one of the more interesting and distinctive angles, to the back of the vehicle (on the right). idlemarvel Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Preferably not imgur as some regions cannot see them. Flickr is also free to use for less than 1000 images. Quote

I don't know of any better image hosting site where you don't need to have an account and forfeit all privacy rights. Flickr is not the best tbh. You should use a VPN for Internet safety anyway. That way you could see imgur too. Quote
