Depends on if you count the Nesquik bunny or not.

In that regards, there is also March Harriet from the batman CMF.

That's the same mold the original rabbit suit used, though (and is still used as of this year in set 42661).

This is a slightly updated rabbit head mold that was used in 80111, with a more angular face.

The Nesquik one is completely different from those ones, though, but it's also a very different style and moreso is for that one specific character before the single-piece molds like Bugs Bunny or Rabbit were around.. So, it may or may not count as a "costume" like the other ones.

Any guesses about what the Fish Costume will end up being?

Maybe a sailfish? Maybe a pufferfish? .... mayble a clownfish?

I think I’m most interested to see how they tackle the dolphin & the fish, as well as whether the frog costume gets any new feet elements.

I assume the standard flippers would be used for frog feet.

Probably, but that’s a little boring …

I’d assume it was generic rather than species specific. But if I had to choose, I’d suggest either a goldfish or a clownfish

I’m legit curious as to how they will do the fish costume. I assume something similar to the ‘shark suit’ head, dorsal & tail piece, but they may do something different

Yes! And I'd also re-mention one of my previous questions as to whether Lego will follow previous conventions of how they have done animal costume figs in previous series. I wonder if this whole series will have the whole animal head and feature the whole minifig face at the same time, or some of them will be made as 'mascot-style' with only the eyes showing through the animal costume head.

Yeah, my hunch is that they are moving towards them all being the whole minifigs face visible. Otherwise why bother making the new cat head mould rather than recolour the one from s18? I do think the downside to that is that the costume figures (to me, anyway) are these days looking a bit ‘samey’, and have lost a lot of their charm. I love the full head of the gorilla and OG bear costumes, and it’s a bit sad we don’t have any more in that vein.

Another factor for me is how useful any of the parts are in isolation, in that regard a shark or lizard costume type (where the minifigs face is in the ‘mouth’) is of more use to me than one which has an animal head atop an unnatural opening.

Certain animals cannot be made into an animal costume minifig without what you termed as an "unnatural opening". Unicorn, llama, giraffe, etc.

The CNY tiger costume skater looks as if the face is showing through the tiger's mouth, but it isn't obvious given they did not include the fangs/ teeth.

If the fish were a goldfish, they could make an alternative type - the goldfish is similar to the race car suit, and the fig wearing it is a kid! That would be cute but it would not be uniform with the rest of the theme.

The mascot style, showing only the eyes is also good for Halloween costumes, so I could see the style still being used at some point in the future.

Didn't they use it heavily with the Chima theme? some of those headpieces make good masks for some castle army factions.

Yes! I have a bunch of them on my (non-LOTR) orcs to add a bit of variety to them, as part of a fantasy castle setting.

The full masks were so creepy... And I think they realized it too. Thats why they replaced the bear and the cat masks

I expect none of the these will be fully closed

Yes, the masks that feature the whole face has a more wholesome, or even "party" vibe to it!

I would guess it might be goldfish.

Croc is more-or-less a redesign of the old Lizard Suit Guy. Croc had more modern black eyes on the mask, leg printing, a rounder belly print, a full set of teeth, and a more visible minifigure face. The old one does have some advantages, though, such as having a separate mask and tail/back part and printing alone the spine. That old one is also just a classic minifigure, so I can't say wholeheartedly if Croc is 100% an upgrade... Though it probably is.

Fish mask is a lot more difficult to make out, but it's not super clear. Looks a bit freakish, though.

Can't say I'm holding my breath for leaks of the rest - I'm sure they will be fine, but I'm also not very excited. At this point I'm more interested in what May might bring...

I never found the full masks creepy, but I can see why designers might prefer to show off their work on the faces.

You know how the minifig eyes are small and fit neatly in the equally small holes of the animal costume heads? Just a slight twist on that head costume makes it seem like the eyes move, as if they were watching you through a peephole. LOL.

I would not put it past Lego to take that Marvel lizard body and just slap on a new headpiece. LOL I'm being sarcastic.

Edit: I think the crocodile looks cute. LOL
